It seems the attention mongers at Dove Outreach Ministries, you know that group that came up with “Islam is of the Devil” T-Shirts is at it again, this time they are trying to get their message out by transforming Christmas from a “Merry Holiday” into a “Hate Islam Holiday.”
Christmas Display Targets Islamic Faith
This video, a compilation of Christmas lights displays from Gainesville, Florida, starts off like any other. You’ll see a nice selection of lights and houses decorated for the holidays. But the last display, from the controversial Dove World Outreach Center, is causing a bit of a stir in the neighborhood. It reads “Islam Is Of The Devil” and is clearly offensive to some residents.

the passage i quoted came matthew 23:31.christians have used passages like these to justify thier hatred towards the jews and other non-jews.now when i see a woman wearing a t-shirt which says “islam is of the devil” i see that the phrase in matthew is altered to direct hatred towards the muslims.

Muslim4Life–frequently I do read the Qur’an, and I must admit to you that it is a rather hard read for a devout Christian like myself, or at least is hard without a guide. When he’s not busy, my co-blogger The Sphinx occasionally aids me, but he has been way too busy lately. If you ever want to lend a tiny bit of time, or rather lead me to a website which explains varying interpretations of the text, I’d certainly appreciate it.
Sphinx worked with me on the 2nd Chapter to the point that led me to the infamous comment at Atlas Shrieks in which I corrected Bostom’s erroneous contention about a line. I really just need to look that back up. That was when Plastic Pammy claimed that since I was being checked for a brain tumor that I MUST HAVE a brain tumor, and THAT was the cause of my lack of hatred for Muslims! Stop the presses, brain abnormalities cause millions of Americans to not rant 24/7 that the Muslims of the world are out to destroy The West (TR).
They have now removed Geert Wilders finger from the leaking dike holding back the insanity and stuffed the ever inflatable Robert Spencer in instead.
And no, I have no brain tumor, but I’m still paying for the bloody MRIs!!

This website’s mission is to combat Islamophobia, (correct false information and lies about Islam) not point out the differing interpretations of Islam and how people twist Islam to suit their agenda. That is something else altogether. Please use the correct terminology. To say there is something wrong with Islam is offensive when you only know what you see from extremists or Islamophobes.
There is nothing wrong with Islam. Absolutley not.
There is however a lot wrong with human nature, including how we think and interpret. and if someone want’s to do something and use religon as an excuse he will do it, even if he cannot use religon. That’s something your poor little brain can’t seem to comprehend.
There are certainly problems with some Muslims, just as there are with some pagans wouldn’t you agree? Wasn’t buring at the stake, and sacrificing virgins part of pagan religon?

Nat–Pammy hired hackers and such, so I copied and saved any and all of our communications the very SECOND she let it be known that I was persona non grata to her. Emails, Skype all night long calls, you get the picture. That was done in confidence, and I will not go back on it, I just can’t. I have these things called, well, ethics. However, I did accidentally hit the “forward” option in all of the mails in which Pamela had berated, belittled, smeared, schmeared, and otherwise insulted Michelle Malkin to…..oh yeah, to Michelle Malkin.
Which meant I got to spread my Chaos around a bit and insult Malkin directly as well. Now that was a hilarious day in blogging behind the scenes history.
Thanks about being tumor free. I get the peace of mind of knowing that I’ll live to pay for MRIs for many years to come now;)

I’m all for free speech, and differing opinions, and letting enemies have their say too, but at least Lou, Durendal, Dolly and other “enemies” do at least stick to the subject and make their point clear. So no complaints there.
But,
Why are people like Reboman allowed to post their nonsense here? All Reboman does is copy and paste, and spew his bigotry against Christianity and Judaism, and presumably Islam from his last post but maybe not. I don’t know if you have noted but he has posted from biblebelievers.org which is an anti=semitic hate site, they also bash Islam. he did give a link to someone that was a site for “infidels”.
Even though members have questioned him, nobody here as yet been able to determine what his point is. He refuses to say, and when questioned he makes flippant remarks, and copies and pastes verses, without saying why he is posting them.
Since Reboman brings nothing of value, and just vents his hate, by slyly posting verses from anti Jewish and anti Christian sites,and pretending it is something sinister..(this is no different to what Spencer does)…we dont’ need a spencer clone here…I think you should ask admin to see if Loon Watch want to keep Reboman here. I’m sure many here would agree that he/she is a prime candidate to be banned.
Another member with questionable credentials is Cassidy, who has a habit of diverting, whilst bringing nothing of value here.
