Dov Hikind, A Settler and New York Assemblyman supports Ethnically Profiling "Mooslims"
Just a few days ago we had a failed terrorism attack on an NWA flight in Detroit. Umar Abdulmutallab, a Nigerian, seems to have come under the sway of the extremist ideology of Al-Qaeda and attempted to blow up a plane in Detroit. The case is in some ways similar to the one involving Nidal Hasan who acted alone in his attack on Fort Hood, and reports are coming out now that Abdulmutallab may have acted alone as well. These actions put a strain on American Muslims, who we never tire to repeat, condemn these acts and are the strongest wall for law enforcement in preventing them.
In this climate, and whenever an attack or an attempted attack occurs we find that certain segments of the population seek to capitalize on them to push forward their agendas. In this instance we have a revealing video collection put together by Think Progress:
First we have Mike Gallagher, the Michael Savage wanna-be pretty much sounding as ignorant as possible, emphasizing names like “Abdul,” “Ahmed,” and “Mohammed” with a wry grin as means for profiling and creating a separate line at the airport. Then we have the aforementioned Islamophobe Peter King making the golly gee statement of the year, “100% of Islamic terrorists are Muslims.” Charles Johnson, of Little Green Footballs commented on that nicely, “In other news, 100% of Popes are Catholics.”
We also have failed Terrorism expert Steven Emerson contradicting himself in consecutive sentences,
There have been so many complaints about so called profiling by quote “Islamic civil rights groups” that they stop basically profiling and that basically led to not putting this guy on the terrorist watch list there would have been too much of an outcry. Number two, he was put on in the last month.
Emerson the genius.
Then there is the New York Assemblyman, Dov Hikind, who in a completely absurd and non-sensical move is calling for the ethnic profiling of Arabs and South Asians. A profile which the would-be bomber didn’t fit considering he was…drum roll please… NIGERIAN.
Dov Hikind dodges the rebuttal by Muslim Advocates’ Hussein Rashid, what is his answer to the fact that this case only seems to prove that ethnic profiling does not work?
The answer seems to be that Hikind is a racist, and notice in this clip how he only mentions Arabs as the ethnic “Mooslims” that he would have profiled, he must be Pamela Geller’s favorite politician after Sarah Palin, considering how he advocates the destruction of the Dome of the Rock and the construction of a Third Jewish Temple. Thanks for putting this together Garibaldi. Dov Hikind is vile, and it is more vile that he hides behind a thin veneer of piety and concern for America to further what is his bigoted views of Arabs.
I love the Think Progress montage, very nicely put together and exposes the collective hysteria that is Right wing!

I like the way Dov says he is against profiling and then in the same breath says that these are extraordinary times and it is common sense that we need to profile. When you are against something that is it, YOU ARE AGAINST IT. You can’t be both against it and for it. He should just tell the truth. He is for it when it comes to “Brown People.” I guess he is under the impression since 9/11 that all the rules have changed and people’s civil rights no longer matter (if you are brown).
Hey Dov Hikind here is an idea why not make all Mooslims wear crescent moons on their clothing so we know who they are at all times. Better yet let’s move them all to ghettos and really disenfranchise them. It is slippery slope to the ovens and the horrors of World War II.
I wonder if he remembers that there is a War on Drugs in American and we have lost more lives in it then any other conflict. I wonder if we should start profiling dealers or better yet users. That would be great. Profiling potheads would be easy. Look for the person buying Pop-tarts, Captain Crunch cereal and chips of all flavors.

Profiling is already done in Muslim countries and particularly in Pakistan..What is your complaint?
See section 28 (religion) and section 34 on the Pakistani ID card application form. Similar religion boxes are on the passport application and on job and educational institutions’ application forms.

from what i have seen of mike gallagher he has shown more sense then mike savage (he invited a muslim onto his talkshow to debate islamaphobe craig winn, and listened to jalal’s arguements. He actually asked winn if he was making his shit up.) He struck me as fair and honorable, so it was kind of a surprise. Yeah he was an idiot, but I’m not sure he’s a full on racist. He certainly more open minded then a lot of other republicans.

Al Qaeda have been known to use whites too, and converts from native lands, who will rouse less suspicion. You cannot profile member of an ideaology that cross race, boundries, colour, creed and language. I have read Fatiha and I find that it is very similar to The Lord’s Prayer. I think it is funny that you believe that Muslims believe that they are superior to Jews and Christians. I feel that is it the opposite. Jews believe that they are the chosen people by God and there for guaranteed heaven no matter what their actions are in this life. As Christians we believe that if we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior that we will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. Muslim on the other hand believe that they will be judged by God, as will all men and women of all faiths, based on how they lived their lives and no one is guaranteed heaven and no one is guaranteed hell. It is the merit of every individual’s actions that will determine whether he or she will go to heaven.
May I remind you the 1st organization that was named as a terrorist group in the US was the KKK and they are still allowed to operate inside the US. Don’t forget Oklahoma City was a terrorist attack done by a white man that was part of the Michigan Militia and this group to is still allowed to operate inside the US. Not to mention all the bombings of abortion clinics have been done by good Christians. Why is the Government not trying to round them up? Why hasn’t the US take these groups down like they did the Black Panthers? One answer “White is Right.”

The phrases ‘maghzoobay alaihim’ and ‘walazallin’ in Sura Fatiha are widely understood by Muslim commentators to be referring to Jews and Christians. Please don’t hide the facts.

I’d like to add that Al Qaeda is in fact a database created by the CIA. Anyone added to the database becomes an alqaeda member. Unlike the notion ppl seem to have, the organization does not have alqaeda membership badges with a membership ID and they don’t recieve alqaeda goody bags upon enlisting either. The supposed ‘Islamic terrorist’ organization also behaves in a very bizarre and wierd manner, which even has muslim extremists bewildered. Muslims themselves who are familiar with the concept of Jihad fail to make sense of this whole situation with alqaeda, the laptop in the cave and the supposed ‘global jihad’ against the west.
alCIAda does more harm than good for the muslim cause and their actions seem to directly benefit US foreign policy.

Seriously Hasan, don’t even try that crap. The translation is “Not (the path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray.”
That means everyone not on the correct path, including Muslims. It is about sin and piety- not specifically hating anyone who isn’t Muslim since
Muslim commentators also point out that pious Christians and Jews will having nothing to grieve over on judgement day….of course let us ignore them since they don’t fit into your agenda. Those facts don’t need mentioning to give the debate any context, right?
Yes there is exclusivity in Islam- there is in all the faiths. Those that believe are on the right path, those that don’t are not…it is exactly the same in Christian and Jewish (plus others) prayers. But Allah will be the judge and it is not the place of a Muslim to think they are beyond that judgement- that is the real meaning of Al-Fatiha it is an entirely personal prayer between the individual and Allah.

Hassan, there is a diversity of opinions on this matter and some people misinterpret this verse to mean Jews and Christians, when the Quran says, The verse says:
“The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not of those who earned Your Anger nor of those who went astray.”
The hadith that is used to mean Christians and Jews, warns about those Jews (not all) who don’t practice the laws, and those Christians who dumped the law and thus are lost. It doesn’t mean that these two religous followers are all wrong. Moreover, the scholars who use this verse to say Jews and Christians have to explain why don’t they use idolators and other religion follwers? since those are the ones who worship other deities or are idolatory.
Furthermore, the verse is a CAUTION to Muslims to be not like those wrongdoers amongst the christians and Jews. The righteous amongst these (christians and jews) are blessed or we wouldn’t be permitted to eat Kashrut, or you couldn’t marry jewish and christian women. , as the Quran say. Some scholars use these verses to justify their superirotiy quite forgetting that sinners and weak faithed exist amongst muslims too.
some interpretations say it’s because they didn’t convert to islam but if that were the case,they wouldn’t have the status of ahl-kitaab and it’s not the correct interpretations, because there are righteous amongst all the book religions monotheistic followers.
Loon Watch, maybe you could write an article about this verse, and how some scholars interpret it? Hasan and Nissa are both right, but the original text of the Quran is interpreted in different ways, and i dare say, according to political climate.

Some Muslims are under the impression after reading this verse, or other verses in the Qur’an, that in order to justify themselves, they are under the impression that this verse only applies to the Jews and Christians. But we should look at our actions today, and testify are our lifestyles according to the law of Allah or not? and if not, then there is no difference between us and those mentioned above. Before starting to blame anyone else, we should first look at ourselves, and our actions.

Hate for non believers is evident in every religion, whether they be kafirs, gentiles or followers of the religion of white supremacy.
If you don’t believe in god he hates you and you will go to hell, its as simple as that! No big deal.
