“Wij zijn dom geboren” means “we are born dumb” It should actually be “We zijn echt te dum voor woorden geboren” -We were born too dumb for words!
It is unexplainable in ANY words why the some Dutch people would want to vote for the fascist PVV party based on the myth of “islamification.” Again – the larger European public is now starting to believe in this myth, some are quite nasty, such as the Austrian “Freedom Party,” which has an aging former SS officer as its “guide.” The far right is making gains in European politics because of this “islamification” myth.

“Dom geboren, nooit iets bijgeleerd” is a Dutch expression. It means: Nobody knows anything when they are born, but some people are are still ‘stupid’ when they are older, they didn’t learn anything.
You can’t call the PVV a fascist party. It is much more complicated. Geert Wilders is obsessed with the Islam. He has said ‘Islam is the devil’ and ‘The Third World War has begun’. In the Netherlands there are real problems, but the PVV has no real solutions. The PVV blames everything on the Islam. They devide the population in ‘we’ and ‘the muslims’. The problems are complicated and many people want to hear that there are simple solutions and Geert Wilders profides those ‘solutions’. Muslims should convert to christianity or leave the country, preferably they should do both, because they can’t be trusted. It is unbelievable that so many people share his fear and his ‘solutions’. The only solution in my opinion is to really listen to people and to talk with them.

I’d like to add some extra details to the lyrics being dutch and alle
First of all is nice to know that they sing with a typical amsterdam accent that in a style that is mostly used in traditional lower class style that is called smartlap (i cant translate it but lets say its a kind of blues)

<- this is serious Geert Wilders actually proposed after a soccor match where some marrocan kids misbehaved toe shoot them through the knee. americans dont understand that Wilders should not be a fascist.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck it must be a duck.
To my opinion he is a fascist and a racist but here in holland you are not supposed to think like that because we are somehow told that when you call people fascist that there will be another Folkert vd G (Killer of Pim Fortuyn) But this is a discussion i’d rather have in dutch .
