Why Did The Pentagon Fund Paranoid, Anti-Muslim Economic Research?

Why Did The Pentagon Fund Paranoid, Anti-Muslim Economic Research?

Earlier we mentioned a new report funded by the Pentagon, which argues that economic terrorists were behind the collapse of the economy (and that they’re not through).

Not only is the pure rubbish, but the report also appears to be anti-Muslim.

Not only does it claim that Sovereign Wealth Funds had a major hand in the crash, it makes a big point of their being “Shariah Complaint.”

The report seems to draw a lot of inspiration from this nonsense (.pdf) titled “The Fifth Generation Warfare (5Gw Shari’ah Financing and the coming Ummah.”

It writes:

The United States and the West cannot win the war against radical Islam merely with the most sophisticated military strategies. Winning requires understanding the role of shari`ah and the Muslim Brotherhood in developing a global ideological and political movement supported by a parallel “Islamic” financial system to exploit and undermine Western economies and markets. This movement is the foundation and the major funding source for the political, economic, and military initiatives of the global Islamic movement.1

Shari`ah finance is a new weapon in the arsenal of what might be termed fifth-generation warfare (5GW).2 The perpetrators include both states and organizations, advancing a global totalitarian ideology disguised as a religion. The end goal is to impose that ideology worldwide, making the Islamic “nation”, or ummah, supreme.

So yeah, why is the government funding this kind of thing?

BTW, here’s the chart used in the presentation showing how these Sovereign Wealth Funds interact with US companies?

From what I could decipher much of the report appears to be based on assumptions of massive money laundering. To follow that theory to its logical conclusion is if any bank is found to be money laundering clearly all other banks using the same financial system and regulations are also setup to undermine the World’s financial system via massive money laundering schemes. A financial guilt by association would have to applied universally.

    Author of report:

“The Ariel Center for Policy Research is a Israeli interest group and think tank. While it does not have a mission statement on its website,[1] the goals described in the founding issue of its journal, Nativ (journal) (Hebrew for “Path”), state its opposition to a two-state solution and a policy harder-line than the Likud party. The site lists its contributing authors (see Related Pages, but not its leadership other than the Editor-in-Chief, Arieh Stav, and the Editor, Leah Kochanowitz.

Haaretz reports that it monitors opposing views at Israeli universities and publishes “A list of people suspected of being leftists or activists appears at the end of the paper.” Its ACPR Policy Paper No. 171, “Our Inner Scourge: The Catastrophe of Israel Academics,” describes a “catastrophe” in Israeli academia, which “…lies neither in the financial situation of Israeli academia nor in its standards, nor even in the low wages professors receive. It lies in its leftism.” The same article also says “Most of the center’s publications are devoted to strategic studies, and some can enrich the Israeli discourse.”[2]“

“Flu outbreak: Are Muslims behind this deadly biological weapon?”

OK OK, I admit it, it was me… I sneezed while doing my Wuddo alright? Not my fault! Honest! Can’t help being an evil Muslim…

    Next winter:

Flu outbreak: Are Muslims behind this deadly biological weapon?

    Anj,
I found an interesting site covering CIA attempts to predict a future terrorist attack, and from all the gathered data from the Freedom of Information Act, what they seemed to have gathered is voluntary subjects that ended up knowing something about 9/11 through some psychological tests. The odd thing is, if the CIA indeed had this exact information, it was more than capable of preventing 9/11 even from the year these tests were done. It may be of interest to you and others here, whether you side on “9/11 Truth” movement or not. It does in fact have a thing or two to say about the movie as well.

  • Anj

I love that movie! It’s insane and sane at the same time. The concept is mad but I can see the US taking part in those types of programmes.
    “psy-ops”

  • TheDemiprist

    Nassir,
“just read the book The Men Who Stare at Goats.”
    I saw the movie.

  • Peep The Game

These theories are whack but because they’re Anti Muslim the US Gov’t sees fit to deem it credible.

Lets get somethings straight for our friends in the Pentagon:

Letting the Federal Reseerve charge interest when “lending” to the State is a sure fire way to remain in debt and have a fragile economy
Lending $14.3 Trillion Dollars to 7 Foreign and US banks on a near to 0 interest rate when the US itself is $14.4 Tr in debt is good for economic breakdown
Letting the likes of Goldman Sachs commit fraud is usually good for recession
Not linking the Dollar to Silver ensures that the dollar remains on flimsy foundations

Let go of the usury you greedy fricking clowns and you might get somewhere!!!!

    Peace

  • Anj

Oh hell no JD! That is a scary thought! Besides it’s a well known scientific fact that’s Muslims do not make good bars of soap! The Jews went through that, I’m hoping if any Muslims were in that position then the ummah would take action!

  • Sam Seed

The West (and Christianity in general) was pretty much anti-Islam well before 9/11. Between 1800-1950 alone 60,000 books have been written against Islam (according to philosopher Edward Said).

  • JD

Does anyone else see Islam being used as a scapegoat much like the jews were responcible for the unemployment and economic downfall of Germany anyone else remember what comes next

  • NassirH

The American Government has funded numerous crazy projects; just read the book The Men Who Stare at Goats.

  • DisillusionedCitizen

I hate proving Godwin’s Law and all, but I remember a time when another religious group was blamed for all of society’s ills, especially its economic failures. In was in the 1940′s …

  • Ibn Mikael

    @ Anj

Yes, just about all the economists in America are moronic Keynesians that literally believe that the way to reduce ones debt is to spend your way out of it. It’s no surprise that the Pentagon would put out such asinine reports–we all know they despise Islam and always have. People forget that those in power are mere human beings with human motivations. They don’t discard their bigotry and prejudice when they join the government.

  • TheDemiprist

I’ve been following this whole mess since it started in 08′. I actually have no xenophobic tensions against Chinese, Russians, Arabs, whoever. If China buys The States as property and hires U.S. citizens to increase employment? I’ve got no room to complain, I’d gladly accept working over being killed on the spot. I think we’re dealing with a Depression far worse than the 30s.

I consider the neoconservative oil obsession to be so ridiculous I categorize them accordingly: war whores and oil whores. It’s absolutely stupid and doesn’t require the killing of the local populace in order to have such a resource. I don’t believe in such tactics to obtain something to keep your own economy afloat. Unnecessary. Expensive. Inefficient. Impractical. Moronic. The rush into globalization and the dissent in NATO don’t spell a fortunate success for America either, too much is being put into short-term claimed “victories” and the military in general.

I’d like to leave The States and had to the Mideast where I can expand on learning Arabic, Islam, and possibly stay indefinitely. I see no point in returning too a country that hasn’t even recovered beyond it’s debt slavery. Besides I get that lovely bonus of “real world experience” so I don’t have to deal with others telling me that “you don’t know what it’s like”..that’s insanely frustrating.

  • Anj

The American economy is really shaky at the moment. In the next 5 years the BRIC nations are expected to close the gap and take over! Get used to seeing chairman Mao on your currency!

Here is an interesting tid bit! After the OPEC crisis in the 70s/80s the Americans did a deal with the Saudis and gulf states that all their oil revenues are to be invested in America and from the interest of those investments America will build cities in the desert! If you look at the top 10 blue chip companies in the US, they are financed by oil money!
Even if the oil runs out the original assets are still there.
If those assets were to be removed then welcome to the economic depression of the 30s.

  • Anj

You see the non Muslims mind melt when you take out the concept of usery “RIBA” from finance.
The concept of living within your means and charity! The concept on enriching the rich further and making the poor even poorer. It’s mind blowing for the poor sods!

  • TheDemiprist

When I think financial or economic terrorists, I don’t think Muslims.

Anj already named a few who I would definitely consider though: The self-proclaimed “too big too fail” monopolizing few private banking entities. Them and their appeals to be bailed out before citizens of The States themselves is the admission of fraud that required exposure and justice, not further proliferation of the QE nonsense until the whole infrastructure collapses because a few greedy families aren’t ready to let the fiat dollar face it’s death and move on to another currency and a revival of The States economy.

“Washington’s Blog” and “GlobalResearch.ca” covers the Wall St. corruption very well, I recommend them to any and everybody here at LW.

  • Nur Alia

In other words, putting people in debt up to thier eyeballs, and having them forever paying on the installment plan is good for the western economy, and those who avoid debt, installments, and interest payments are trying to destroy the economy.

Somehow people dont see that someday, borrowing and basing wealth on material things is going to catch up to that society.

Oh…but of course, it is Islam’s fault.

  • Anj

Are all the intelligent economists in america dead?
    Islam caused the economic slump?
Try greed an capitalism, try wall street, try fanny Mae and Freddy mac, try bank of America, lehmans and goldman sachs. Try Bernie madoff?
These loons are are getting whackier and more loonies by the minute!
