Daniel Pipes
by Farha Khaled
Recently, the MiddleEastForum’s failed academic with a history of Islamophobia, Daniel Pipes sent out a fund raising email, full of misrepresentations and lies regarding a Center for American Progress report that described his anti-Muslim activities.
Pipes begins his solicitation:
The Center for American Progress, in a much-ballyhooed study, deemed me one of the five most influential thinkers shaping the public discussion of Islam.
The study Mr Pipes is talking about is “Fear Inc. The Roots of the Islamophobia Network in America” and the actual words used to describe Mr Pipes in the report are “Islamophobia misinformation expert” and not “influential thinker” as he is claiming.
It was the first in-depth report into how a small cadre of bigots are fomenting and funding Islamophobia for political gain though LoonWatch has been debunking and exposing their nefarious associations for over two years now. The report states (page 6):
Five experts generate the false facts and materials used by political leaders, grassroots groups, and the media:
“These experts travel the country and work with or testify before state legislatures calling for a ban on the nonexisting threat of Sharia law in America and proclaiming that the vast majority of mosques in our country harbor Islamist terrorists or sympathizers.
Indeed, the email Pipes sent out to solicit donations would qualify as an exhibit of this misinformation. He writes:
Meanwhile, Islamist violence in America is on the rise; for example, the number of jihad-related terror indictments in U.S. courts doubled in 2010 and is on pace to reach a new high in 2011.
Jihad related attacks in 2010 were down from the previous year. He made no mention of the significant numbers of American Muslims tipping off authorities about potential threats, nor of the growing debate questioning the motives of the myth makers fueling this propaganda.
Professor Charles Kurzman, who wrote the book The Missing Martyrs: Why There Are So Few Muslim Terrorists gave an interview to Think Progress. He put the threat into context by explaining how American Muslims play a prominent role in combating what he describes as a low level threat.
Significantly, Pipes glosses over the fact that right wing terrorist threats are on the rise. Annual statistics compiled by the SPLC in “The Year in Hate & Extremism, 2010” show:
Taken together, these three strands of the radical right — the hatemongers, the nativists and the antigovernment zealots — increased from 1,753 groups in 2009 to 2,145 in 2010, a 22% rise. That followed a 2008-2009 increase of 40%.
Another study, “Anti-Terror Lessons of Muslim-Americans” a joint project by the Duke University and the University of North Carolina reached similar conclusions. David Schanzer, director of the Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security at Duke University and a co author of this paper suggests:
Our research suggests that initiatives that treat Muslim-Americans as part of the solution to this problem are far more likely to be successful
Elaborating further in “It’s time to confront the ‘counterjihadists’” Schanzer suggests:
Muslims need to be more aggressive in confronting mistruths about Islam that appear in discourse, whether they come from radical Muslims or anti-Islamic demagogues. The public is uneducated about Islam. This vacuum is being filled by the clash-of-civilization cheerleaders. Muslims need to tell a different story.
In the Fall of 2011, Risa Brooks, Political Science Professor at Marquette University, wrote an analysis; “Muslim ‘Homegrown’ Terrorism in the United States: How Serious Is the Threat?” It details how the exaggerated fear of Islamic terrorism in the USA diverts costly resources from more pressing threats and questions why the Department of Homeland Security downplays the rising number of right wing terrorist threats and which are often not even labeled as such even when they qualify. She concludes:
“the political dynamics noted above contribute to an unbalanced presentation of domestic terrorist threats in the country, the well-intentioned desire by public offcials and politicians to prepare people for local attacks even at the risk of overstating their probability, and perhaps more cynically, those individuals’ bureaucratic and political incentives to magnify the threat. Regardless of the source of alarmism, all Americans benefit from questioning assumptions about the Muslim homegrown threat.“
Why then is Daniel Pipes engaged in focusing on and magnifying one threat? Tellingly, in ‘The End of American Jewry’s Golden Era‘ he laments:
The Jews’ Golden Age in America began in 1950, when social restrictions were eased in universities, banks, businesses, clubs, etc. This period may now be ending with the growth of the American Muslim population.
Elsewhere too, Pipes has written of his fear of the growing influence of American Muslims:
It is also the right of CAIR, AMC, and the Muslim Public Affairs Council to devote their resources to promoting the idea of Muslim victimization. But the reality is, stubbornly, otherwise: far from being victimized, the Muslim-American community is robust and advancing steadily.
In his paranoid mind, any kind of success enjoyed by American Muslims must necessarily translate as being detrimental to American Jews. This myopic thinking would explain his uncalled for attacks on Rep. Ellison and his fixation with Muslims in every walk of life from politics to business, from the academia to beauty pageants. Both in America and around the world, Pipes and his Islamophobic allies manage to find a conspiracy behind anything that portrays Muslims in a positive light.
Simultaneously, trawling the news for any crime committed by a Muslim to exploit as the true face of Islam even if the culprit was a non practicing Muslim or a non-Muslim! He claims to be protecting American rights in the Middle East and trumpets how Campus Watch (accused of intimidating academia) and The Legal Project combat ‘lawful’ jihadism and protects free speech citing Geert Wilders as a beneficiary. Would Wilders have been a recipient if he didn’t lent support to the far right Likud agenda that neo conservatives support? Top Dutch officials have mocked Wilders for claiming Islam is a trojan horse in the Netherlands when he himself is loyal to a foreign nation. Sheila Musaji has a compilation of anti Palestinian and Islamophobic memes that Pipes has attempted to legitimise through his organisations.
Returning to the email Pipes sent out, he goes on to solicit:
As debate over Middle Eastern and Islamic issues intensifies ahead of the 2012 elections, I urge you to support our efforts by making a donation
This shouldn’t come as any surprise. Pipes had already tried to inject anti Muslim hysteria masquerading as ‘debate’, both during and after the 2008 election. Some highlights include; Equating Keith Ellison to Hitler; Propagating the falsehood of Obama being a Muslim for which he was mocked at in Islam, Israel and Insurgents a televised Q and A session; Suspecting beauty pageants of ‘affirmative action’ for their odd frequency of having Muslim winners. Although Pipes claims that he only fights ‘Islamism’, in all likelihood to keep up a pretense of scholarly repute, Eli Clifton outed him as a fully fledged Islamophobe.
Having failed to influence the 2008 election in the way he had hoped, Pipes switched tactics proceeding to advise Obama that he could save his presidency by bombing Iran. Then when Egyptians were waiting for Mubarak to step down, he saw Iran as the puppeteer lurking in the background.
Evidently, Pipes intends to get just as down and dirty in the 2012 elections as he puffs:
The Forum, a think tank I founded in 1994 to promote American interests in the Middle East and protect America from Islamist threats, is very active these days.
By now there is plenty of evidence that points to a legitimate threat being hyped by Pipes under cover of American patriotism to promote Likud politics for which an Islamist bogeyman is necessary. All this, whilst accusing American Muslims of colluding with the left to strengthen the Muslim Brotherhood. Clearly a bad case of projection. One could conclude that Pipes is as extreme as they get, but the peace advocate and blogger Richard Silverstein notes at his website Tikun Olam, popularly known as ‘The Wiki Leaks of Israel’ that ‘Among Anti-Muslim Warriors Pipes is a Dove‘. Particularly so when compared to proponents of Religious Zionism and right wing extremists.
Robert Steinback at the SPLC offers a mirror into the minds of these anti Muslim warriors with his intelligence report ‘Jihad Against Islam‘ which he ends with :
It is particularly perplexing trying to discern the ultimate goal of this corps of activists. If their aim is to isolate and destroy the violence-prone fanatical Muslim fringe, then it doesn’t make sense to undermine moderate Muslims and argue that only confirmed terrorists are interpreting the Koran correctly. But both tactics make perfect sense if the aim is to build a widespread, irrational fear and hostility against Islam in general — encouraging, rather than helping defuse, an eventual global confrontation between East and West.
It may indeed be a cynical obfuscation employed by Pipes and his allies to further their own politics and biases, but at the very least he can bank on receiving money to continue his crusade–if his followers are daft enough to donate.

Pffft…they’re the new nazis. All you have to do is read the fascist sites like jihadwatch, pam shrugs, free republic, etc.. and see the brain dead haters crapping out their hate. But things didn’t turn out well for the original nazis and it’s not going to be a good end for this batc of nazis either.

This paragraph is ingenious. And it says long about certain people’s real deep rooted fears.

@corey: Unless the sentence reads “Daniel Pipes is not a thinker.”

Mr Pipes’ hatemongering has a purpose. To keep Muslims demonized and sidelined in the west – to shore up his beloved israel. If you look at pretty much every organized anti Muslim movement in the west, you’ll find a zionist hand in it.

CAIR Asks FBI to Probe Internet Threats to Mosques
Comment on anti-Islam hate site: ‘I want [Muslim] blood on my hands’
(WASHINGTON, D.C., 11/25/2011) — A prominent national Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization today called on the FBI to investigate a number of threats of violence targeting mosques posted online on an anti-Islam hate site, including the comment “I want [Muslim] blood on my hands” by an individual who claims he regularly drives past a Virginia mosque.
The Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) also urged WordPress.com to remove the hate site because its calls to violence violate the hosting company’s terms of service,” which prohibit blogs that “contain threats or incite violence towards individuals or entities.”
[NOTE: At CAIR's request, WordPress.com last year deleted a similar blog containing posts that advocated burning mosques, making false bomb threats implicating Muslims, desecrating Muslim graves, and that recommended the "proper way to shoot a muslim [sic].”]
CAIR said articles and comments posted on the anonymous blog “Bare Naked Islam” (BNI) routinely urge attacks on and desecration of American and European mosques.
[NOTE: Grammatical errors have been maintained for all posts and comments below.]
“Keith Mahone (aka Charles Martel),” who states that he regularly drives by a Virginia mosque, wrote: “[I]f you see a Muslim licking an ice cream cone in the park and you blow his head off you are technically committing an act of self defense. . .Muslims must learn they they are not safe anywhere outside a Muslim country. . .My heart does a back flip to see a mosque “desecrated”. . .Burn every mosque to the ground in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and kill every Muslim twice. . .I want their blood on my hands as a matter of principle.”

Does anyone want to guess what they are useing as excuse
Freedom of speech someone should tell these morons
a.) Freedom of speech started to protect the people from the government they can say what ever they want against the government
b) what ever freedom of speech has evolved to now does not include inciting hate and violence

Jihad is another name for terrorism, preached by Quran and Mohammad.Hence Islam can not claim to be a religion of peace and no true Muslim could be trusted to be a man of peace.A tree is known by its fruits. It is very uncomfortable for Muslims now when the true face of Islam and Muslims is being exposed relentlessly after 9/11.Islam-o-phobia is not Imaginary but real.

Although I live outside the US, I do get the sense that the Islamophobic nut jobs are steadily burning themselves out. It seems to me that their arguments are becoming ever more desperate. This doesn’t mean that they should be ignored. While it often seems like taking candy from a baby, Loonwatch and others should continue to tear them down using calm debate, because that’s the difference between them and us. We don’t need to make up lies, simply to debunk those propagated by such as Pipes. More power to your elbow!

@ “Truth Seeker”: The only truth in your comment was the last sentence: “Islam-o-phobia is not Imaginary but real.”
“Jihad” is an Arabic word whose English meaning is “struggle”, and it is used for struggle in the cause of God. It is not only the Qur’an which preaches struggle in God’s cause; the Bible preaches it also: Ephesians 6:10-12 (New International Version) – “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our STRUGGLE is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”. If you translated that into Arabic, Paul would be saying our JIHAD is not against flesh and blood, etc.
The struggle advocated by the Qur’an is no more nefarious than is that which Paul advocated; and it is no more an obstacle to peace than is the Biblical struggle. After all, the Prophet Isaiah said in two places that there is no peace for the wicked (48:22 and 57:21). In both the Bible and the Qur’an, peace is achieved through struggling with and overcoming evil – whether that be evil within ourselves, in other people, society, or “heavenly realms”.
In Islam, struggle is first of all an inward struggle against our own sinful tendencies; secondly, it involves struggle against wickedness in society – which struggle can be verbal exposure and reprimands as well as action taken to put a stop to it (neighborhood crime watch, letters and phone calls to Congressmen, reporting suspicious or criminal activity to the police so they can take action, etc.). Struggle only becomes physical warfare as a last resort of defense against the physical attacks of the wicked. The “Jihad” of Iraqi or Afghanistani freedom fighters against the invading forces of the Soviet Union or the United States is legitimate physical struggle – no matter how much the Soviets or we ‘Americans’ may dislike it. (It’s very uncomfortable for ‘Americans’ when the true nature of the aggression of the U.S. Government is exposed relentlessly, isn’t it?)
Many of us do not believe that the terrorist attacks of 9/11 – and many other attacks attributed to Muslims – were actually done by Muslims. But assuming that it was indeed “al-Qaeda” which did those atrocities, Muslims do not accept it as legitimate “Jihad” (“Struggle”) and vociferously denounce such actions. If you were not aware of Muslims denouncing those atrocities, it can only be because you have shut your eyes and put ear plugs in your ears.

As usual, “Truth Seeker” (ha ha hee hee) makes a nonsensical statement. Stephen Parker has offered a brilliant refutation, but we should not expect “Truth Seeker” (ha ha hee hee) to respond. He/she is one of those trolls who use “hit and run” tactics. They spew their ignorant hate and then run for the hills, avoiding any rational discourse!

It was the first in-depth report into how a small cadre of bigots are fomenting and funding Islamophobia for political gain though LoonWatch has been debunking and exposing their nefarious associations for over two years now.
Although LoonWatch has been (and is being) a lot more effective in “getting the message through to people,” I would like to point out that the Center for American Progress report may have been the first such report to gain media coverage, it was certainly not the first “in-depth” report on the propaganda war of the enemies of humanity and is not really “in depth” but focused “in depth” only on one aspect of that propaganda war.
Long before the CAP report ~ indeed, long before I and other indigenous American muslims of my generation (born during and immediately after World War II) began documenting and publicizing the aims and architecture of the demonization propaganda directed specifically against Islam and muslims ~ the full “in-depth” architectures and political aims were not only known and documented, but were being publicized throughout the muslim world (including among English-speaking muslim minorities) as a continuation and escalation of that propaganda war from documented historical roots that reach back to the time of Jesus and even further.
I first joined the FreeRepublic forum in 1999, as “ankaboot,” and was warmly received by a few. Palestine and the misconduct of the Israelis was not a taboo subject, it drew lively contention. An ancient story from Scripture generated a lengthy and informative Thread. Keeping The Faith ~ “Religion, Freedom, and International Affairs” was a welcomed Thread. Neither taboo was the U.S.S. Liberty discussion to which I posted.
But I left for another forum, returning only five days after 9/11, largely in response to the demonization campaign being waged against muslims in America and worldwide. I was banned a month later. This time around I was able to save 57 Threads in which I had participated ~ while every post by Ankaboot was being purged from Free Republic. Ironically, I had been saying, quite loudly, that Israel had not caused 9/11 or had a hand in the treason that murdered 3,000 Americans.
Geller and her coven are bit players, hired for the occasion. The “seed money” for their “Save America ~ Donate” businesses came from known sources. Their function is to poison the well ~ here and everywhere else ~ and start as many “Let’s you and him fight” brush fires as they can while their sponsors win revolutionary wars they’ve had planned and running for a century.
The war against Islam is nothing new, the architects and generals directing that war are not unknown, the reasons for that war are uncomplicated and no mystery, and the cast of characters in a historical drama that’s been playing on the stage of the world since the time of Noah still comes from the same casting studios. The CAP report gives us an in-depth look at “Act VI, Scene 3.” It falls a bit short of showing us the directors and producers. It’s worthwhile ~ but it’s just the tip of one iceberg. It’s not a picture of the glacier that the ice berg came from.

To Shaykh al-Hajj Dawud Ahmad, M.S.J.D.
Whilst it is certainly true that activists and bloggers have long made efforts to combat Islamophobia, there is no concerted effort by any prominent organisation to tackle this specific problem, on a global scale, one with worldwide reach. The Center for American Progress study ‘Fear Inc’ was the first, it was extensively reported on all over the world.
The OIC is another organisation that tackles Islamophobia on a global scale, but if one compares the the CAP study to the last Islamophobia report the OIC released, it is patently clear, that the CAP study investigates one of the roots of the problem (the funding), which the OIC have yet to look at in detail.
Perhaps I should have said:
“the first indepth report into Islamophobia that got worldwide publicity”

Farha Khaled writes: To Shaykh al-Hajj Dawud Ahmad, M.S.J.D.
Please do not imagine that I am critical of the Center for American Progress or disparage their work in any way ~ I am not, and do not. Their “Fear Inc.” report was published almost simultaneously with a similar report from the Southern Poverty Law Center, which was shown to me by a neighbor, and I immediately sent links to both, and my recommendations to read and publicize the reports, to all of my Web correspondents at several discussion forums and on several public and private mailing lists. I had been waiting for years ~ over two decades ~ for someone to pick up the ball and expose these enemies of humanity, and was most surprised to see both the CAP and SPLC reports receive some publicity. That in itself is a quantum change in the public information media, similar reports and analyses ~ some more in depth and extensive ~ have received no notice at all in the mainstream media.
But The Center for American Progress was not a “prominent organization” until its “Fear Inc.” report was extensively reported, and it is simply not the case that their report was the first. You are entirely correct in saying …
Perhaps I should have said: “the first indepth report into Islamophobia that got worldwide publicity”
… which is precisely true. It was the first in-depth report into Islamophobia to gain wide public exposure ~ more, I suspect, than the SPLC report was given.
But what I said ~ and all I said ~ was that a focus on “Islamophobia” (a euphemism) is insufficient to show the magnitude of the attack on humanity of which it is a significant, but minor, component. So-called “Islamophobia” ~ which is most accurately described as “incitement to genocide” ~ is not new, and it is much more extensive than what appears in the mainstream media and in the public dialogue of American social policy and overt political manipulation. What is “new” is the escalation following the failure of the anticipated and intended “backlash” from 9/11 to eliminate indigenous Muslim America from the wildfire spread of Islam in America. It backfired ~ more Americans embraced Islam in the year after 9/11 than in the ten years before then.
This escalation is a panic reaction on the part of the enemies of humanity. It is entirely, thoroughly fraudulent, as anyone can see ~ but it is fraudulent not only in its representations, but also in its claims of “fear.” The enemies of humanity do not fear Islam or muslims, they fear the success of “making Islam known” and the effect that will have on their power to subjugate and exploit entire peoples as if we were herds of cattle and flocks of sheep. Which is how they regard us: existent only to serve them as wage-slaves, debt-slaves, corporate slaves, household slaves, sex slaves, and conscript slaves for their internecine wars among the powerful ~ as it has been throughout human history. And religious slaves ~ where “religion is the opiate of the masses,” what do you suppose is the “opiate” of others who sell us addictive cigarettes, alcohol, and prescription medicines at prices that make heroin dealers envious?
Do you realize that Americans are able to keep less of the actual fruits of their labors than landless peasants were in the most oppressive of the feudal states of Europe? Do you know what changes have been wrought in the world’s plutocratic oligarchies since they were joined by the enemies of humanity whose distinguishing characteristic is the single-minded pursuit and worship of Mammon? “Islamophobia” is no more than an effort to prevent exposure of their betrayal and deception of humanity over those innumerable centuries of the past since the establishment of agricultural settlements that those who established them could not defend against marauders. They fear vengeance, is what they fear ~ not Islam or muslims.
What they fear of muslims is our ability to expose their deceptive “religions” that have pacified the faithful beneath the heels of tyrants for countless generations, and their other deceptions of “divide and conquer” and “Let’s you and him fight” bloody conflicts. And how could muslims expose this? Simply by disclosing what the enemies of humanity conceal: the paths of human nature that lead to dominion and success, which they followed to get where they are, over the rest of us.
How many Americans have died defending freedom that none of us have? Where is the promise of liberty ~ the opportunity to acquire the material means of exercising freedom ~ established any more in America? Who defends you against the ravages of those who consider you less than human for your gullibility, pacifism, kindness, altruism and love for each other? Who hears the derisive laughter at the misguided antics of “the people”?
Burned salt ~ that you buy in grocery stores ~ is killing you. Wine turns your minds into chaotic nightmares. Swine prevents your brain from “warming up” sufficiently to “hear” inspiration without sound that illuminates successful pathways, while what reaches your eyes and ears is little more than subtle falsehoods. Find someone who spurns wine, swine and brine and ask him about his religion or what he learned of this with his medical degree.
The FDA murders people every day at the behest of those who sell poisons in measured ~ and expensive ~ doses that interfere with the body’s natural defenses and restorative functions, but sometimes eliminate the warning signals of pain or discomfort that tell you your body needs to repair itself before it’s too late. Who collects the profits on sales of “vitamins” synthesized from fast-disappearing everyday plants into forms that the body cannot use, as dividends on stocks they bought while “investing in America”?
A pin-worm medicine in tablets, sold singly in America by prescription for over $15 each, is sold over-the-counter in Makkah in a package of six for $1.50. You’re paying for an “American Dream” that you see only on television, that others are living behind fences and guardhouses in gated communities whose names you never even hear.
This is the price of the “secret” that the powers-that-be hide from you in the very churches intended to inform you. And the last thing the enemies of humanity want you to do is learn how thoroughly and extensively you’ve been defrauded and betrayed and prevented from gaining meaningful control over your own lives.
The OIC is another organisation that tackles Islamophobia on a global scale, but if one compares the the CAP study to the last Islamophobia report the OIC released, it is patently clear that the CAP study investigates one of the roots of the problem (the funding), which the OIC have yet to look at in detail.
The Organization of the Islamic Conference is part of the problem, not a solution.
We in America ~ muslims with no ethnic heritage of Islam ~ have been telling people about the roots of this war ~ and its architects and generals and strategies and tactics and methods and organizational “outside help” and institutional supports ~ for decades. There’s been no market for “Islamist propaganda,” the house deck was stacked against us before we even existed, with all the Jokers removed. Unless we talk about flying carpets, genie-filled lamps, sensuous harems, hashish-filled hookahs, and unreachable mirages, no one hears us. It took the founders of LoonWatch to gain an audience beyond the small part of Muslim America that was listening.
“The funding” is not a “root” of the problem, it’s a pathway leading to the enemies of humanity. And it’s not hard to follow. Follow the money behind the Cordoba House controversy and you’ll find the same root. And then you’ll be able to see the forest of which “Islamophobia” is just one tree …
… a forest designed and planted to entice you into getting lost in it, to keep you from getting through it to see what the enemies of humanity cannot afford to let you find: a toolbox with which you can form and establish a world according to your own understanding of “good” and “right” and “human.” The rest of humanity is waiting to see what you will build on the scorched-earth ashes of the hell into which we and our fathers have made America.

The report “Fear, Inc.” is riddled with errors, and lies.
For example, the rader is invited to examine the background of the Yorba Linda protest which is mentioned on page 63 of “Fear, Inc.”.
Notice how there is no mention of the two men the protesters were objecting to.
Loonwatch, and Wahajat Ali are part of the Hamas support network in this country. Hard to see it any other way.
November 28th, 2011 at 6:01 pm
Painfully stupid
Any Proof that LoonWatch is a hamas network?
November 28th, 2011 at 6:01 pm
Painfully bad,
You are desperate. The CAP reports most important findings were the neocons who are fomenting Islamophobia for a narrow agenda by fabricating lies. Even if some minor mistakes were made, which I think they have spoken/rectified, they exposed the lies of the Islamophobia industry.
Now the world can see how neoconservatives, try to push the USA into perpetual war, by pretending they speak for the West,
It is a matter of time before the West roots out these evil mongers.
Wajahat Ali wasn’t the only researcher for the report, there were five other reporters, all of them brilliant. The Fab Five (move over The Beatles)
They Fab Five are:
Eli Clifton, Matt Duss, Wajahat Ali, Lee Fang, Scott Keyes
and
Faiz Shakir, (Think Progress Editor-in-Chief) contributed too.
I can only assume you’re one of those neo cons, with a Likud agenda, which seeks to make sure Muslims never gain prominence? Dream on! American Muslims contribute much good to America. Daniel Pipes can eat his greedy evil heart out.
More and more Americans are realising what a threat these loons pose. They’ll need it soon. Geller, Spencer, Gabriel, Shoebat, Wafa Sultan, Daniel Pipes, Horowitz, Bostom, Gaffney, Emerson, and the other sewer rats.
November 28th, 2011 at 6:56 pm
I must add that even though the Fab Five (CAP team behind Fear Inc.) did a brilliant job, Danios of Loon Watch would have been a great addition to their team.
Danios, you should consider joining Think Progress. Your work on Spencer is invaluable.
But here is the irony, whilst Loon Watch was accused of having Soros behind it, Soros is behind Think Progress, so you guys should join forces.
I can see the Atlas Shrugs headlines:
“I warned you over two years ago that Loon Watch had Soros behind it. They have now come out of the closet and admitted as much” LOL
