Pascal – I would think that the very fact that the commenters are willing to wish a “merry Christmas” or “happy holidays” to Christian readers would itself be sufficient testimony that they do not condone terrorist attacks against Christians or anyone else. It speaks of an entirely different frame of mind than was displayed by those who perpetrated those vicious bombings.

I am thinking of posting a blog article condemning this particular series of bombings of churches; but if I do so, it will be largely a repeat of other articles I have written in the past about other terrorist acts. Muslims – both on this site and elsewhere – have been speaking up for years against similar vile acts of murder (or mass murder) “in the name of Allah”. Many of us have reached the conclusion that we just don’t have a responsibility to repeat “we condemn this act” every time some Muslim (or someone pretending to be a Muslim) does something terrible – any more than Christians feel the need to repeat “we condemn such acts” every time a “Christian” bombs an abortion clinic, shoots an abortion doctor, murders prostitutes, or even kills his/her own children so they won’t grow up to reach the ‘age of accountability’ and risk going to hell! We acknowledge all such acts as being terrible – both un-Islamic and un-Christian – but it’s just not necessary to repeat this every time such an atrocity occurs.

I wonder, have you been posting condemnations every time some radical ‘Christian’ beats up or kills a Muslim (or someone who ‘looks’ Muslim), or desecrates or bombs a mosque? Or do you just expect us to understand that such acts against muslims are offensive to you?

I wish (belatedly now) a blessed “holy day” to all reading this who observe any such special days at this time of year.

“if they came with a condemnation of the Boko Haram’s attacks on churches in Nigeria yesterday.
As it is, Muslims everywhere are staying silent, apparently condoning these attacks against us infidel Christians.”

sure, blame an attack by a few crazies on ALL Muslims, how about I blame all Christians for the Utoya massacre because of Anders Bahring Brevik and claim that all Christians are responsible just like you, but no I won’t lower my self to your level because I can differentiate between good and bad people on this Earth unlike you.

oh and if Muslims did come out and condemned the attack, you and your buddies wouldn’t be satisfied and claim that the condemnation is Taqqyia and not accepted.

    @Pascal

Muslims have repeatedly condemned terrorism and continue to condemn terrorism. I believe this is willfully ignored for political reasons.

As for Nigeria, violence must be condemned no matter who is responsible. The conflict cuts both ways, though Muslim atrocities attract far more Western media attention, especially on anti-Muslim hate sites.

Don’t expect to see something like this on Jihad Watch:

“Jos – Gangs of armed youths in the volatile Nigerian city of Jos attacked Muslims as they gathered to celebrate the last day of Ramadan on Monday, killing a number of them and burning their cars, witnesses and the military said.

The city, which lies between the country’s mostly Muslim north and the predominantly Christian south, has been a flash point for ethnic and sectarian tensions between the two groups….

Witnesses said Christian youths set up roadblocks and attacked Muslims as they gathered in Jos’s Gada Biu and Rukuba areas, shooting a number of them dead.

A Reuters witness saw several bodies. At least one was charred after being set alight.”

This was meant to be a pleasant holiday wish to all. It’s unfortunate that you and Skeptic felt the need to taint it with your hatred.

    Happy Holidays to everyone!

    Merry X’mas everyone!

The greetings would be much nicer if they came with a condemnation of the Boko Haram’s attacks on churches in Nigeria yesterday.

As it is, Muslims everywhere are staying silent, apparently condoning these attacks against us infidel Christians.

Merry Christmas to all Christian Loon Watchers and readers! “Behold! the angels said “O Mary! God gives you glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus the son of Mary held in honor in this world and the Hereafter and of those nearest to God.”-Qur’an 3:45

Happy Hanukkah to all Jewish Loon Watchers and readers! “Has the story of Moses come to you [O Muhammad!] (20.9)? When he saw a fire he said to his family: “Stay here, for I have perceived a fire, that I may bring to you therefrom a brand or find a guidance [to the road] at the fire” (20.10). When he reached it, he was called: “O Moses! (20.11). It is Me, your Lord, so take off your sandals; you are in the sacred valley Tuwa (20.12). I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed (20.13). I am Allah; there is no god save Me. Therefore worship Me and keep up prayer for My remembrance (20.14). The Hour [of Judgment] is coming; I keep it almost hidden, so that every soul will be rewarded according to its deeds (20.15). Let not the person who does not believe in it and follows his own passion turn you away from it so that you perish (20.16).”-Qur’an 20:9-16
