UKIP Candidate: “Koran is Worse than Adolph Hitler’s ‘Mein Kampf’”

No surprise that the UKIP is parroting statements like those of Geert Wilders (h/t:githensmazer). I wonder is Julia Gasper like a UK version of Lou Ann Zelenik:

A candidate for UKIP has compared Islam’s holiest book to Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf, Political Scrapbook can reveal. Academic Julia Gasper — a former Westminster hopeful and current council candidate in Oxford – said the Koran was “fascist” and compared those who defend Islam to holocaust deniers.

In emails seen by Scrapbook, Gasper ranted:

“Why is it any more wrong to assert that the Koran is a fascist book than to assert that Mein Kampf is a fascist book? The Koran is a lot more explicit in advocating hate and murder than Mein Kampf is.”

Having dismissed comparisons between sections of the Koran and the Old Testament as “not valid”, Gasper responded to suggestions that her hateful bile was demonising Muslims:

“Words like “demonization” are just self-deception. They are being used to persuade you to keep your eyes shut. In fact, the apologists for Islam are really very similiar to Holocaust deniers.”

To compound matters, the rant comes to light as another UKIP candidate is suspended for expressing sympathies with Norwegian mass-murder Anders Breivik – and just days after Julia Gasper herself was slammed for saying gays should stop ‘complaining about persecution’ and start thanking straight people for giving birth to them.

Looks like they’ll be making that a double suspension then.

I see Dr Julia Gasper has now deleted all oppositional comments on her blogspot and is also no longer allowing comments.

The funny thing is, she’s on other websites claiming people are denying her right to reply/free speech and comparing it to Stalin and Mao.

Not even the Hadith can be compared to Mein Kampf. There is much good in them, while there is no good at all in Mein Kampf (and it’s awfully boring as well). As Gandhi said, “The sayings of Muhammad are a treasure of wisdom not only for Muslims but for all of mankind”.

Thanks for recognizing and admitting that “The koran is certainly not as bad a mein kampf”!. — Will you then finally go an extra little-step also recognizing and admitting “as bad” as one may think both “koran” and “hadiths of Mohammed” are, they’re both far less “bad” than what your Bible God “Jesus” ordered his Biblical prophets to do?

And @John. Yeah, the Quran is a primary source, Hadiths were compiled after Muhammad’s death, so reliability and accuracy is an issue. There are many scholars who study them and declare them accurate and weak…

What alot of Islamophobes tend to pick, are the weak ones. If not, its out of context. The loon Robert Spencer does that a lot.

As far as the Quran goes, the Jews and Christians are brothers and sisters in Faith, and are called the “People of the Book”. As for violence, the Quran only advocates struggle in self-defense and cases such as oppression and cruelty.

What Islamophobes and fascists miss out is the fact there’s also a inner struggle (Jihad). So they always show one side of the coin to mislead others.

I wonder if she has read either… I have read both and I will say that Mine Kampf is hardly worth the time and has pretty much no merit at all other than you feel really really good after finishing it because you know that whatever mental problems you may have you are wayyyyyyyy better off than Hitler was!
