Paul Golding Spreads Lie That London Muslims Celebrated Paris Terror Attack

The meme that Muslims, especially Western Muslims, whether they be in New York or London, celebrate terror attacks is a persistent trope used over and over again by Islamophobes. Christian missionary David Wood uses it, President Donald Trump uses it and now the leader of a small anti-Muslim party named Paul Golding has tweeted a video he claims shows “‘moderate’ Muslims celebrating the Paris terror attack in London.”:

Sadly for Golding, as MEND Community has shown, the video is actually Pakistani cricket fans celebrating their team’s victory in the 2009 World Cup.

The tweet has been deleted though no correction/apology has been posted by Golding or Britain First.

  • I’m trying to get to Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia, very soon. 🙂

Obviously I’m generalising when i say Russian food is terrible, I’m sure they have many top notch dishes, but I was left incredibly unimpressed by all the food i ate whilst there, probably because i had to have the crappy vegetarian “meals”.

I don’t think the terrorism in France has anything to with the oppression of Muslims – the reason being most of the terrorist ******** they capture or fail to capture (in France)- whoever they parade around on the media as the bogeymen – are the farthest from Islam in their practical so-called Muslim lives. Everyone is a fornicator, a druggie, a drinker. I am not sure who is paying these losers to carry these acts. The money trail could be followed which could be a big indicator of who is behind it – but the French imbeciles have an axe to grind with Islam – so no we never find out who was paying these thugs.

It is unlikely that they are being paid, given how often they are apparently captured soon after their alleged attacks. For losers, the payment they truly desire isn’t money. Rather, it is the one thing that they, by definition, do not have: success in life. No one likes being a failed star, and if they cannot or are unwilling to achieve success in life with anything legal, then, for some, they choose to achieve success in life with anything criminal. Thus, they are prime patsies for using to carry out criminal acts. Thus, the criminal acts can be committed without a money trail that goes back to their handlers.

It is ironic that, while the polemicists and the detractors are always quick to blame these criminal acts on Islam and/or Muslims collectively (rather than on the individual(s) actually responsible), truly understanding Islam dissuades, rather than encourages, these criminal acts.

They would … out of their own lack of curiosity and understanding.

    😛

Didn’t think from that angle. They would probably shoot the Muslim.

“The Arabs”, that’s lots and lots of people who although they have many things in common, are very different from each other.

  • Friend of Bosnia

    Sadly true.

Well, the Algerians just wanted my photo and the address where I was stying. But my friends had to write me a letter of invitation and have it stamped at their mayor’s office. Only then could I get a visa.

I wonder what the procedure is now for the US? I’d like so much to visit again. I once was in Florida for a Space Shuttle launch, but they postponed it for technical reasons and now there’s no chance to see one.

  • Friend of Bosnia

    Thanks for the info.

Now, my Algerian friend’s wife is Russian German, and I have been invited to dinner with them quite often, and the food is always great (she learned cooking from her mother, but maybe that’s the Algerian influence?)
Anyway, home cooked is always better.

There have to be good restaurants in Russia as well (but very expensive and far in between, I gather). Ah, the remnants of the old Soviet times. I’d say, try some Azerbaijani or Uzbek.

You’re right, it’s fun to globe trot, but I wish I had visited Syria and Yemen before all hell broke loose there (I will not expound on that here).
I’m glad nevertheless I have been to so many places in Latin America and lived there during my youth, to Japan, to Morocco, Algeria (at least some parts of it, and it’s not recommendable to visit on your own these days), Turkey and of course, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and I can say, the horrors of war notwithstanding, it’s a lovely place to visit.

  • Friend of Bosnia

Oh yes, I too have one. It’s rabbit fur, unfortunately; the real good ones are karakul. But it’s really comfortable and warm nevertheless, and it looks really good. Now the best thing is, I bought it in Spain. WHere I always go on vacations there’s a cultural festival every summer, and that year (it’s a few years back) they had a Russian folklore group. It was fun to watch, they performed quite a few songs I know, and during teh break they sold all kinds of Russian souvenirs, and I thought this is a rare chance to get such a headgear (as for obvious reasons I’m not travelling to Russia anytime soon), so I bought it right there and then, and I put it on (had to find the correct size). Ah, I wish I had a photograph of that. Just fancy, that day it was about 30°C – after sunset.
I think I’d do better to skip most of the news too, it’s really the same old sh*t. But worst are the comments. My my my, what horrible ideas some people have.

  • Friend of Bosnia

I experienced the same thing last year, not with my wallet, thank God, but with my flight documents (these days when you print out your boarding pass at home it won’t fit into your shirt pocket, and I inadvertently left it on teh desk when I was getting my things together), but I recovered it all right, and the people at the gate were quite friendly. Maybe that too was a lucky break…

  • Friend of Bosnia

But then they will say “Oooooh, he’s a terrorist…! Shoot him!”

And the security gorillas will shoot him.

Sadly for Golding, as MEND Community has shown, the video is actually Pakistani cricket fans celebrating their team’s victory in the 2009 World Cup.

It seems unlikely that Golding was unaware of what the video actually was, which means he was intentionally peddling lies against Muslims.

The countries i want to go to most are Japan, Korea and Mexico. Turkey hasn’t really been on my mind until relatively recently, probably because of all the news.

The Russians are very thorough with their visa applications. They took my photo, fingerprints and wanted to know what my parents did for a living. I don’t know if that’s something most countries do or if Russia feared i was a British spy XD
