In my view the best person is Colin at ozzycda. This brother has a fantastic Bank of videos on YT and is a good article writer too. Moreover, he is interested.

I want to thank RefutingActs17 for mentioning me but I am not suited and am very pushed for time. Brothers ozzycda, shadeed and all the others are better suited to the task.

Please check your emails as I know Colin at ozzycda is interested so you should have one from this brother in your inbox.

    His YouTube is here:

Thanks for allowing me to post.

  • Mosizzle

Islam is beautiful. There is no harm if you decide to share some of it on this website. It provides a good contrast to the endless lies we continue hearing and how people focus on the fighting and stoning and sharia and forget the main part of Islam that Muslims practice 99% of the time.

  • Sam Seed

Those Islamic teachings are really beautiful, soothing like milk and honey. I love Allah, He is beautiful without form. When I hear the 99 names of Allah recited in Arabic I get tears in my eyes.

  • Cynic

I agree that Stephen G. Parker should be one. His blog is superb.

  • iSherif

I made a mistake above with the name of the website. The correct one is:

  • Sir David ( Illuminati membership number 5:32)

That’s a big constituency Justin ;-)but unfortunetly not quite the one needed

  • Justin

Nobody likes my writing except religious Muslims…

  • ozzycda

One more thing I noticed that DrM mentioned many hateful users on Youtube and he is right, myself and others have been dealing with these users for years. I also wanted to mention the user Ahmadsquran5, who has two websites of his own along with a youtube channel by that name. He is also trying to lead a anti-Muslim anti-Islam campaign of his own. I have a number of videos refuting his own which can be seen on my channel.

  • ozzycda

    Salamu Alaykum everyone,
I appreciate nat’s nomination for me to join the Loonwatch team. I think this idea of assembling as many individuals as possible is a great idea and one worth pursuing. Even if I cannot contribute to writings of actual articles, I have been spreading the words on this site and its partner-sites on my Youtube channel and blog. I have linked articles from this site that are relevant to videos I have made even older videos of mine. I hope if anything to be a strong supporter to get the word out about this site and also be a source of support for the writers of Loonwatch as well. Any information and references I can provide that can help any of the writers I would gladly give.

I agree with Mr.Islam Answers Back that a Youtube version of Loonwatch would be amazing. Also if brother Islam Answers Back would join the team here at Loonwatch Inshallah he would do an amazing job, he has my nomination without question!

  • MrIslam_Answers_Back

I like the suggestion of a youtube loonwatch version. Its something I would be interested in as I my self have been going after many loons and refuting and debunking their claims already. To be a part of the loonwatch team would be great. Here are some of my works refuting Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer , and Pastor Terry Jones also Walid Shoebat.

    Pamela Geller Refuted part 1
    Part 2
    Part 3

    Robert Spencer refuted Part1
    part 2

    Pastor Terry Jones refuted

Walid Shoebat exposed as a fraud.

  • Sir David ( Illuminati membership number 5:32)

I would like to help too
but not sure if I know enough or can commit the time.

  • nat

    I elect ozzycda from Youtube.

    – That said, I like the mix Loonwatch/Spencerwatch already has established and fear this would be disrupted if there were ‘too many chefs in the kitchen’. I think rather than permanently add writers straight off the bat, ask “guest writers” to send in pieces on specific issues and have the administrators post the pieces at their own leisure, after editing etc.

    – Keep the focus on dispeling myths and exposing and rebutting loons. Don’t post Muslim apologetics or anything too esoteric – as there is only a limited audience for this. While as Muslims we may enjoy a good theological debate – this site should be accessible to everyone who is not a genocidal loon – no matter their religious background or lack there of. It should continue to be a meeting place for decent people everywhere who can see through slimy war mongering weasels.

    – Maybe ask people to send it facts/figures on issues or interesting references for the writers to work into articles. Not everyone is as talented a writer as on this site, but many of us have access to good information about history and Muslim tradition and belief.

  • DrM

Monitoring Youtube would be a full time job, it’s a wasteland full of hundreds, if not thousands of anti-Islamic channels. Here are some instigators of Islamophobia on Youtube :

JIDF(Jewish Internet Defense force, false flaggers extraordinaire. They’ll go after anyone critical of “israel.”)

Pat Condell (former lumberjack, prominent “atheist,” failed comedian, reader of the Daily Mail tabloid rag, and hater of all things Islamic.)

Naomi Chambers aka Naomi91 aka NaomiKnight (mentally deranged Zionist troll pretending to be a mild mannered atheist(yet only critical of Islam, often through “israeli” sources like MEMRI, who now writes for the Faith Freedom hate site). If you read the comment section of any prominent Muslim channel, you’ll find this troll there.

TXHalabi – A Syrian American Christian(and a bad representation of one) who can barely read Arabic yet runs a anti-Islamic channel “reading” Islamic sources.

Nazis, Zionists, Hindutva fanatics etc etc etc…

  • iSherif

I elect the amazing Stephen G. Parker, whose blog can be found at His matchless style and meticulous attention to detail is sure to knock the stuffing out of Spencer and Co. He really deserves a much bigger platform and here’s hoping he will take up this offer.

    The Prophet on Peace

From the outset, Muslims point out that the very word “Islam” is deliberately derived from the root “salima” meaning “peace, safety, security.” The standard Islamic greeting is “peace be upon you.” Therefore, the definition of “Muslim” is one who not only submits to the God of Abraham but is also committed to peace, justice, and safety for his fellow human beings. This definition of Muslim was stated explicitly by the Prophet: “The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand people are safe, and the believer is the one from whom the people’s lives and wealth are safe.”[1]

The theme of peace, both in this life and the next, is consistently repeated throughout the Holy Qur’an:

The servants of the Lord of Mercy are those who walk humbly on the earth, and who, when the foolish address them, reply, ‘Peace!’ (25:63)

And (the believers) turn away whenever they hear frivolous talk, saying, ‘We have our deeds and you have yours. Peace be with you! We do not seek the company of ignorant people.’ (28:55)

God invites to the Home of Peace, and guides whoever He will to a straight path. (10:11)

The story of Abraham is particularly insightful:

Have you heard the story of the honored guests of Abraham? They went in to see him and said, ‘Peace.’ ‘Peace,’ he replied, [adding to himself] ‘These people are strangers.’ (51:24-25)

Abraham, who is as much a model for Muslims as he is for Jews and Christians, returned the greeting of peace to his visitors even though they were complete strangers, demonstrating that, in Islam, the offer of peace is universal.

In fact, the Holy Qur’an and the Prophet command Muslims, very explicitly, to seek out a peaceful solution to all conflicts. As the Holy Quran says: “If they incline towards peace, you [Prophet] must also incline towards it, and put your trust in God: He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing.” (8:61) The great 14th century exegete, Ismail Ibn Kathir, stated clearly that this verse was not abrogated or cancelled, citing the statement of the Prophet: “After me there will be many differences, so if you have a way to end them in peace, then do it.”[2] This tradition is significant because it was narrated by Ahmad ibn Hanbal, founder of the fourth and most conservative orthodox school of law in Sunni Islam, on the authority of Ali ibn Abu Talib, a figure revered by both Sunnis and Shi’ites. Furthermore, Arab grammarians will point out that the phrase “then do it” is an imperative command, indicating obligation. It should be no surprise, then, that Abu Umamah, the companion of the Prophet, said: “Our Prophet commanded us to spread peace.”[3]

In a famous tradition, the Prophet preached his message of peace and love: “By the One in whose Hand is my soul, you will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I tell you something which if you did you would love each other? Spread peace amongst yourselves.”[4] Commenting on this tradition, the famous 13th century Muslim jurist, Ibn Sharaf an-Nawawi, stated that “peace is the first cause of harmony, and the key to attract affection” citing as evidence a statement he attributed to the Prophet, mentioning characteristics of faith, one of which is “to offer peace to the world.”[5] Conversely, the Prophet discouraged hatred and division: “Do not envy each other, do not hate each other, and do not cut each other off, but be servants of God in brotherhood.”[6]

All of this is standard behavior related to the Prophet’s teachings on good neighborliness: “Whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him honor his neighbor.”[7]

I have to say BMD that Loonwatch and its other sites are the most prominent group of sites that are out there Islamophobia-busting and that is why I will be joining! :-)

  • mindy1

Not a good writer, but will be watching

  • Khushboo

I agree with Les. Those youtubers are scary and need to be monitored.

  • Hisham

I would like to answer the call as well. Ever since 9/11 with the bashing against Muslims, I have always wanted to communicate the truth about Islam. I was 10 at the time it occurred and did not know how to do it. But now that I am soon to graduate university in Accounting, I will have time to devote to exposing these people with the truth.

  • NassirH

    What did Spencer expect?

When you spread lies and bigotry you’re going to get exposed.

  • Justin

    I am answering the call

  • Lessirey

Loonwatch should start watching youtube, its high time we expose the islamophobes out there too.youtubers like patcondell, thunderf00t etc are fooling spreading fear and misinformation in masses

  • Beautiful Muslim Doll

    I have another idea,

Why not have writers who specialise in a specific topic. For example

    Christian Zionist Islamophobia
    Kahanist Islamophobia
Likud (secular right wing Zionists) Islamophobia
Neo Con Islamophobia (usually Jewish Republicans)
    Atheist Islamophobia
Racists jumping onto the Islamophobia bandwagon
    Neo Nazi (white supremacists) Islamophobia

All of the above groups have some prominent Islamophobes, but they are all motivated by different agenda’s. Hence it is better if they are given a loon buster who knows specifically about what they are talking about.

  • Beautiful Muslim Doll

    Superb Idea!

    Congratulations Loon Watch.

This is a fantastic way of making the Loon Watch group of websites a central point of information on all the Islamophobes, and for anyone who wants to see how these liars mislead the ignorant.

Please also try to include an Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, French and Russian section. This will cover much of the worlds’ population, and they will all have a central reference point.

Insha2Allah, I am sure there will come a time when this will be the most prominent group of websites for all things Islamophobia-busting.
