Florida: Firebomb thrown at Muslim Family’s Home

Possible arson attack. It’s too early to say what exactly happened, there is an investigation under way and we’ll keep you posted on it’s results.:

Florida: firebomb thrown at Muslim family’s home

Panama City police are investigating what appears to be a fire bombing in the Forest Park area.

It happened about 3:45 Wednesday morning at a house on Timber Lane in phase-1 of the subdivision called The Woods.

The owner’s son said he heard a loud noise outside of his bedroom window, looked out and saw the ground below on-fire. He called 9-1-1, then put out the fire.

Police say they smelled gasoline and found what appeared to be a broken and burned mason jar, lying on the ground below the window.

The home is owned by a local medical professional named Aziz Ahmad. 5-adults were inside at the time.

Ahmad’s son, Muhsim talked with us. “This could have burned down our whole house. This could have killed everyone inside, which is a very dreadful thought. Something like this shouldn’t happen to anyone in this community.”

Panama City police and the State Fire Marshal’s office are investigating the case as an arson.

But a Muslim civil liberties advocacy organization called the Council on American-Islamic Relations is calling on the F-B-I to investigate the incident as a Hate Crime.

[Shays’ Rebellion, sorry for the typo.]

Just as a starting point, read up on Shay’s Rebellion, and the other revolutionary actions of those who actually fought the war of independence which were stifled. Then read up on the Alien and Sedition Acts put in place to protect the new “king” and his court. The argument here is that the landed gentry at the time were not intent on changing the mode of production in the U.S., they just wanted their profits to stay at home as it were. Every subsequent uprising that might be described as revolutionary has been violently put down.

I should actually credit a nun in 7th grade who drummed into our heads that the revolution was really a coup d’état….pretty radical, now that I think about it.

“America needs a true revolution, and not just the hostile corporate takeover that was the coup d’etat of 1776.”

    More information please…..

Getting to be? It’s always been this way. Here’s George the First talking about the Cayuga Nation:

“The immediate objects are the total destruction and devastation of their settlements and the capture of as many prisoners of every age and sex as possible. It will be essential to ruin their crops now in the ground and prevent their planting more….Our future security will be in their inability to injure us, the distance to which they are driven, and in the terror with which the severity of the chastisement they receive will inspire them.”

Culturally, the mentality is one of defining oneself based on what one is not. When that “not” is striking similar to oneself—the Irish, Welsh, Scottish, for example—what hope for anyone else a darker shade than pale?

There’s no assimilation, if one hopes in any way to maintain one’s language, culture, and identity. America needs a true revolution, and not just the hostile corporate takeover that was the coup d’etat of 1776.
