EDL to set up HQ in Luton, claims Lennon

The English Defence League is set to open a headquarters in Luton, says its leader, who has been released from jail.

Stephen Lennon, who calls himself Tommy Robinson, said the HQ would be at his tanning shop premises in Hastings Street.

“It will be like the Discover Islam centre but we will be telling the truth about Islam,” he said. “I will be in there every day. It’s going to be a nightmare for the police because it’s going to get attacked.”

Lennon said the headquarters would be run as a “charity”, as he was unable to run a business because the police had had his bank accounts frozen.

The EDL leader has a tag to ensure he obeys a curfew order after spending 18 weeks in jail for entering the US on a false passport.

Pamela Geller Defends British Fascist Imprisoned for Entering the US Illegally

I hadn’t looked at Pamela Geller’s site in a while, but I just did, and wow. She’s always been a swivel-eyed loon, but the hate is just off the charts now. Non-stop rage and bigotry. Really ugly stuff.

One of her latest crazed posts defends the leader of the fascist English Defense League, calling him a “political prisoner:” POLITICAL IMPRISONMENT IN THE UK: EDL LEADER TOMMY ROBINSON JAILED FOR 10 MONTHS!!!

It is stunning that the UK has degenerated to such depths. Freedom is no longer a reality, but a defeated idea undone by cowardice and capitulation of Islamic thuggery and violence.

Tommy Robinson, my colleague and board member of SION, is a political prisoner in the UK, imprisoned for standing up for freedom and equality of rights under the law. I stand with Robinson.

Tommy Robinson has been rotting in a UK jail under gruesome conditions awaiting trial for months.

Actually, Robinson isn’t his real name, and his prison sentence has nothing to do with standing up for anyone’s freedom. Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (his real name, or possibly another alias) pleaded guilty to using someone else’s passport to illegally enter the United States, in order to speak at one of Geller’s anti-Muslim rallies. And he resorted to this ruse because he was previously barred from the US due to his violent criminal record.

I wonder what Pamela would have to say about a Muslim who entered the US with someone else’s passport?

EDL leader Stephen Lennon jailed for 10 months for using false passport to attend Geller’s conference

The leader of the English Defence League has been jailed for using someone else’s passport to get into the United States.

Stephen Lennon, 30, pleaded guilty to possession of a false identity document with improper intention, contrary to the Identity Documents Act 2010, at Southwark Crown Court.

Lennon used a passport in the name of Andrew McMaster to board a Virgin Atlantic Flight from Heathrow to New York, but was caught out after his fingerprints were taken by customs officials.

He left the airport and entered the US illegally but left the country the following day, using his own passport to return to the UK.

The court heard that Lennon, who had previously been refused entry to the US, used his friend’s passport to travel to the country in September.

He used a self check-in kiosk to board the Virgin Atlantic flight at Heathrow, and was allowed through when the document was checked in the bag drop area.

But when he arrived at New York’s JFK Airport, customs officials who took his fingerprints realised he was not Mr McMaster. Lennon was asked to attend a second interview but left the airport, entering the US illegally.

He stayed just one night and travelled back to the UK the following day using his own legitimate passport – which bears the name Paul Harris. The court heard that is the name that appears on the EDL leader’s passport, although he uses aliases.

Lennon, who was arrested in October, was jailed for 10 months.

The court heard that he was previously jailed for assault in 2005 and also has previous convictions for drugs offences and public order offences.

Jai has tipped us to the fact that the British Freedom Party has been de-registered by the electoral commission:

The British Freedom Party, the EDL’s “political wing”, has been de-registered by the electoral commission in the UK. It means that the BFP are now defunct as a political party and the EDL leadership’s plans have therefore collapsed completely on this front.

This is very welcome and important news.

You will recall that BFP leader Paul Weston has become one of Geller & Spencer’s closest allies and, like EDL leaders Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (aka “Tommy Robinson”) and Kevin Carroll, Weston attended Geller & Spencer’s anti-Muslim conference in NY in September 2012. Jai provided more background information on Weston in an LW article about Spencer.  Geller & Spencer’s efforts to spread their poison to the British political sphere via the BFP/EDL have utterly failed.

Note that Yaxley-Lennon himself is of course still incarcerated for illegally entering the US to attend Spencer & Geller’s conference alongside Kevin Carroll and BFP leader Paul Weston. Yaxley-Lennon’s court trial is pending in 2013. Potentially he will also be extradited to the US for his crime.

British Freedom surrender under a cloud of secrecy

The English Defence League’s political wing, the British Freedom Party, appears to have wound up it’s operations and de-registered themselves from the electoral commission by not sending them their £25 fee. Nothing has been posted on any of their social media websites since the 12th December which is the day after they were de-registered.

This means that they will not be able to field any candidates under the parties name but could field independents.

The party, set up to catch the vote from EDL supporters failed to take off due to the fact that support of the EDL was rapidly declining and many EDL members were more interested in a drunken day out than taking their views down the political road.  The EDL’s support is currently at an all time low and they have become a liability.

Their local election results last year were a shambles where they fielded five candidates and the highest vote they got for one candidate was 79.  They had slightly more success putting their deputy leader, Kevin Carroll, up for the PCC elections in Bedfordshire but that was largely put down to voter apathy.

Jailed leader of the English Defence League, Tommy Robinson, was until recently deputy leader of the BFP but had to resign due to his alleged criminal activity surfacing and the imminent threat that he was to be jailed.

Their current deputy leader, Kevin Carroll, is on bail on suspicion of ‘conspiracy to cause a public nuisance’ after a furniture van full of balaclava clad EDL supporters were stopped on the motorway, suspected of being on their way to target a mosque in London.  Carroll answers bail in February.

It appears the party has gone under due to the fact that they had no credibility within the far right due to their association with the English Defence League who are generally seen as a bit of a joke by other nationalist groups.

EDL leader Stephen Lennon (aka Tommy Robinson) has been charged with multiple counts of mortgage fraud. So on top of being an anti-Muslim bigot and all around Islamophobe he’s also a suspected criminal who loves committing fraud through the tactic of false representation.

EDL leader Stephen Lennon charged with mortgage fraud

Stephen Lennon, 30, is accused of three counts of conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation in relation to a mortgage application.

Mr Lennon is due before St Albans Magistrates Court on 7 December.

He will appear with five others, from Luton, Silsoe in Bedfordshire and Watford, who were arrested as part of the same investigation.

They face charges including fraud, money-laundering and possession of drugs with intent to supply.

One wonders about the silence of the Yaxley-Lennon’s US partners Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller. No doubt they will continue their defense of the EDL leader and claim he is being persecuted due to politically correct multiculti influenced Sharia.

Robert Spencer’s pivotal role in the international anti-Muslim propaganda network has been extensively documented. In conjunction with Pamela Geller and a range of anti-Muslim allies, Spencer’s actions are continuing to escalate, particularly via his SIOA/SION/AFDI organisations. Furthermore, Spencer was one of the most heavily cited sources of “information” on Islam in the mass-murdering terrorist Anders Breivik’s manifesto; in fact, Breivik explicitly stated “About Islam, I recommend essentially everything written by Robert Spencer”. It is therefore worth summarising the following facts about Robert Spencer, for the public record:

1. Robert Spencer has repeatedly made false statements about Islam and Muslims. A lengthy selection from a very long list of examples highlighting Spencer’s misinformation is available here, here, here, and here.

2. As a result of an interview he gave to the Washington Times in 2003, Robert Spencer is on record as publicly admitting that his actions are heavily motivated by his agenda for the dominance of the Catholic Church.

3. Considering that Pamela Geller heavily bases her claims about Islam & Muslims on Robert Spencer’s writings, it is presently unclear whether Geller is complicit in Spencer’s agenda or whether she has herself been tricked by Spencer.

4. Current official Vatican policy on Islam & Muslims is actually the complete opposite of Robert Spencer’s own claims, despite Spencer’s unilateral actions in the Catholic Church’s name.

5. Robert Spencer’s anti-Muslim propaganda is identical to the Third Reich-era Nazi Julius Streicher’s anti-Semitic propaganda.

6. As detailed in #10 of the article above, even Robert Spencer’s disingenuous argument in his own defence is identical to Julius Streicher’s statements at the time.

7. Due to the nature and horrific consequences of Julius Streicher’s propaganda, during the Nuremburg Trials the United States convicted Julius Streicher of crimes against humanity.

8. Robert Spencer is now formally allied with European neo-Nazis, and has even begun organising joint public demonstrations with them.

9. Robert Spencer is also now formally allied with the English Defence League/British Freedom Party, who are themselves now allied with the aforementioned European neo-Nazis.

—– The EDL have been forcefully condemned by a very long list of British Sikh temples & organisations, including the two largest Sikh temples outside India (see: here and here). One of those organisations, the Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha, is headed by an internationally respected British Sikh leader who represents the global Sikh community at the Parliament of the World’s Religions and is himself very closely affiliated with the global Sikh authorities at the Golden Temple complex in Amritsar; he was also invited to address the UN General Assembly in New York. Furthermore, not only has the Sikh leader concerned been given an award by England’s Queen for his organisation’s exemplary humanitarian activities, but he has also recently received the rare honour of formally being declared a Knight by the Catholic Church due to his numerous interfaith bridge-building efforts, a fact that must be particularly galling for Robert Spencer himself.

—– In November 2011, the EDL leadership released a public statement on their official Facebook page, in which they confirmed that their agenda is racially-motivated, repeatedly using terminology prevalent amongst “white nationalists”, including neo-Nazis. Screenshot here.

—– As a result of an interview he gave to the Norwegian media, in April 2012, Yaxley-Lennon is on record as publicly praising Anders Breivik, promoting Breivik’s manifesto, and claiming that Breivik’s mass-murdering terrorist attack would have been “easier to justify” if the people killed had been Muslims. Weston’s article is openly racist. The article also repeatedly implies that anyone non-white is automatically “Muslim”, whom Weston proceeds to caricature & demonise in the worst terms.

—– Along with Robert Spencer, Gates of Vienna was of course one of the most heavily cited sources of “information” in Anders Breivik’s manifesto.

—– Robert Spencer’s claims about the Prophet Mohammad allegedly being a paedophile are well-known; the EDL leadership have publicly confirmed their intention to promote such propaganda, which Yaxley-Lennon himself has publicly promoted numerous times. The accusation is also being used to caricature & demonise Muslims en masse. However, it is worth noting that one of the EDL’s main founders, Richard Price, is a convicted criminal for multiple counts of downloading child pornography; at the time, Yaxley-Lennon initially tried to excuse this, and then launched a campaign to try to free Price from prison. SION’s closest UK allies are in deep water. On top of 53 EDL activists being arrested, EDL leader Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (aka Tommy Robinson) was also arrested by Met police for entering the USA illegally.

Following yesterday’s police operation that saw 53 EDL activists including EDL leaders Tommy Robinson and Kevin Carroll arrested, things are looking a little bleak for the tiny tinpot racist.

Tommy has been released on bail pending further enquiries and he has taken to Twitter to reveal how much trouble he is actually in.

Not forgetting several court cases that are pending with Robinson, he appears to be on the point of being remanded in prison for entering the USA illegally last month.

Tommy writes “Been arrested for fraud for flying to America for invitation to speak in new York on Sept 11th. Met police are a joke …#political policing”

He also claims he has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting the Luton based Islamic extremist Sayful Islam.

Tommy isn’t happy, but if his Twitter claims are true I am !!

This may bode ill for Pamela Geller considering the fact that (according to an article by the British anti-racism organisation “Hope Not Hate”) at the time Geller is also on record as claiming that she was involved in “sneaking Yaxley-Lennon into the country,” it will be interesting to see if she is arrested/prosecuted by the relevant US immigration authorities too. Pamela Geller is going hysterical at the moment on her blog ranting with the usual verbal diarrhea about the UK government being “dhimmis” and “weak” and how this is an unprecedented attack on “freedom fighters” like herself, etc. Sounds like she is scared that she will be exposed  in this mess as well.

Pamela Geller, for all those who’ve forgotten is the looniest blogger ever. Everything out of her mouth competes with everything she has said in the past to be more over-the-top, racist, hateful, and Islamophobic.

Pamela Geller calls for the destruction of the Golden Dome;  Obama is a Mooslim, Jihadist, Pimp, anti-Semite who is aiding the Iranian Nuclear program;  Sharia Coke is taking over the world, it is defamation of Judaism and Christianity for Islam to include Moses and Jesus as Prophets of Islam;  Pamela Geller is a Holocaust Revisionist who claims that Hitler and the Nazis adopted Jihad;  Not only is Obama a secret Muslim, but according to Pamela Geller,  “Obama is bringing his jihad to Illinois…Obama’s treachery is breathtaking“;  Pamela Geller calls for the nuking of Mecca, Medina, and Tehran;  Pamela Geller promotes a genocidal video, Pamela Geller shows sympathy towards white supremacist;  Screenshot of Pamela Geller’s post on June 25th wherein she posted a video claiming that Muslims engage in bestiality;  Pamela Geller left speechless when called out for drawing a picture of the Prophet Muhammad with a pig’s face.

More serious than Geller posing in a pic with Mitt Romney is the insidious nature of Romney’s ties with the Islamophobia movement. Romney’s senior foreign policy adviser is none other than former Bush era UN Ambassador John Bolton.

One can only hope that in tonight’s debate the moderator questions Romney about his ties to radicals and inclusion of Islamophobes like John bolton on his staff. Gus from Little Green Footballs has compiled an incisive compilation of the ties between Bolton and Geller.:

The reader should be reminded of the connection between Anders Breivik and Pamela Geller. There is also a connection between Anders Brevik and Robert Spencer.Tommy Robinson’s hooliganism and right-wing extremism is notorious and too extensive to cover here. You can however find many articles covering his organization, the English Defence League, which has been covered extensively at LGF including his connection to Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer.

There is no vast conspiracy at play here. However, it should be disturbing enough that the senior foreign policy adviser to Mitt Romney, John Bolton, has the ear of anti-Islam extremist, Pamela Geller. Her connection with the EDL makes this plainly obvious. This my friends is the post-modern conservative movement, where we find odious characters in the Republican big tent whose lives are intertwined; in this case from Mitt Romney to Pamela Geller; Tommy Robinson (EDL), Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller; and most importantly, the close relationship of John Bolton and Pamela Geller.

EDL to screen anti-Islam film in East London

The English Defence League are planning to screen the ‘Innocence of Muslims’ film trailer in East London next month.

EDL head Tommy Robinson said on Twitter today that it would be screened on October 27th, in Walthamstow.

Given how awful the film is, it is more likely to bore the hell out of its audience than anything else.

Anti-racist group Hope Not Hate’s Nick Lowles says that if the screening goes ahead then “he should immediately be prosecuted for incitement”.

The Labour MP for Walthamstow Stella Creasy tweeted in response:

I don’t agree that screening the film should be cause for prosecution in itself. Under that logic, Liberal Conspiracy would also be liable as we also published the trailer.

However, the screening does give an enterprising group of British Muslims an opportunity for a good stunt to show their contempt for the EDL, without falling for his attempt at trolling.
