Become a Muslim and move to Saudi Arabia, says apparent misogynist, Islamophobe, and longtime “Christian” televangelist, Pat Robertson.

Mitt Romney this weekend stumped alongside televangelist Pat Robertson, not minding Robertson’s legacy of incendiary, insensitive, heartless and apocalyptic rhetoric that has gotten him in trouble in the past. Apparently, Robertson’s own CBN has become aware of Robertson’s problematic statements, and may even be editing his controversial claims out of episode archives.

For example, today on the 700 Club’s “Bring It On” segment where viewers ask Robertson questions, one man wondered how he should go about repairing his marriage with a wife who “insults” him and once tried to attack him.

“Well, you could become a Muslim and you could beat her,” Robertson responded. “This man’s got to stand up to her and he can’t let her get away with this stuff,” Robertson continued, “I don’t think we condone wife-beating these days but something has got to be done.”

He later said the woman is a “rebellious child” and pondered if she has psychological problems. Robertson told the viewer that since he “can’t divorce her according to the Scripture, so I say: move to Saudi Arabia.”

Steve has to alter his propaganda. Well he got here with the intention to lambast Saudi men for abusing Saudi women but since that didn’t work, he has to change his goal posts and propose how Saudi women abuse Saudi men. Poor Steve; what a desperate soul.

Better class? how is’t a woman, or even man for that matter wishing to have a richer partner that can easily provide a comfortable life for both them and their kids makes them from a less ‘better class’?. I’ll tell you what, in this day and age where both parents have no choice but to run all day to slave at the very least 10 hours a day and that even after all those hard working hours bring home something barely enough for them to survive, while the kids are pretty much left home alone raising themselves, I’m almost certain most women, or even most men for that matter wouldn’t mind to have a richer partner that can easily provide enough for all the family’s needs so that the other at least is able to stay home and raise the kids. My comments to Steve was lighthearted and perhaps a bit exaggerated but its was just to annoy him in return a little, with all the annoyance he usually bring with his posts. But nonetheless, not a whole lot of people out-there would mind living a financially comfortable life, of course being rich does not mean being happy, but still it would be a great asset to have both a loving while rich partner!

I think people are missing the original point here which is that Saudi Women are treated like royalty and not abused victims which Pat Robertson implies. Can we move on now please?

Why is it everything Arabs or Muslims related must be problematic and controversial for you? even something as factual as yes indeed most women, whether Western or not, Arabs & Muslims or not, loves as matter of facts to have a rich husband that can provide them everything they wishes and desires without having to lift a finger to earn it. Though of course without counting that there may be some women who in the end may well be bored enough with spending all their God-giving times on pampering themselves, and thus may wish to have some form of official job or something to kill a little extra time. Nonetheless, it wont be because of need of money but only out of boredom, so yes its a fact Steve that most women desire a rich husband that’ll provide all of their, and their kids needs, a very, very rich husband! but will you dare deny your wife isn’t an exception to the general rule as you claim!?.

And by the way, no one is stopping Saudi women from working either, heck more than half of Saudi men don’t even work themselves, they’re rich enough to pay other’s to do so. But traditionally, Arab women loves to be pampered by their husbands, they love to spend their money, even save and put aside a big chunk of it (without piping a word of it to him!) in safety deposit in case of future divorce and rainy days, all that without her having to lift a finger to slave 8 to 10 hours a day to earn it. Heck isn’t what most women western or not, loves after all? their men to bring the bacon, while they happily devoured it?

With the recent Saudi-zation initiated by King Abdullah, most of the expatriates are getting replaced with Saudis – men and women. The blue collar jobs are held by people from the countries that you mentioned but that is because these workers are uneducated and don’t have any opportunities in their own countries. The educated Pakistani will be working as a doctor in a hospital but the uneducated one will be working as a construction worker. The same happens in the USA with the only difference that the uneducated Pakistanis usually never make it there due to the requirements for the green card process. In the US, the Hispanics or the blacks will be holding the lower end jobs.
