From the Loonwatch staff, to all those who are celebrating.
Happy Eid Al-Adha, may you have a blessed feast and celebration.
Man with pretty cool umbrella at Eid prayers in Lagos, Nigeria.
May the next year be one where peace is achieved.
Happy but belated Eid to everyone!
Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating it.
Some suitable music to mark the occasion: Here’s some video footage of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s huge live concert at the Royal Festival Hall in London a couple of years ago, supported by the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, performing a song dedicated to a famous historical Muslim saint who is widely revered by Muslim and non-Muslim South Asians alike:
Belatedly, Eik Mubarak – and a link to a daft Eid-related tweet from an EDL type.
Happy Eid Al-Adha! May the poor become less poor, and indeed, “May the next year be one where peace is achieved.”
I just want to wish all of my Muslim friends and LW’s practicing Muslims a happy but belated Eid Mubarak.
I hope everyone enjoyed their Eid celebrations in peace and harmony. May this Eid bring you all prosperity and continued happiness.
Thanks LW-Admin, Mindy, Reynardine. Eid Mubarak to you all! and lets pray that by next Eid (Inshallah) may God weakens to fade the dreadful vogue of Islamophobia hate. I also hope everything went smoothly and safely for our 2012 hajjis & hajjas.
To all of you also! I used to have a dandy little photo of a palm and a star-dogged moon I would have loved to send in; alas, when my last phone crashed that went with it (right now, no moon or stars to photograph; only the outer bands of Sandy)
Thanks! Blessed Eid to you as well.
Happy Eid to you as well.
Happy Eid brothers and sisters in the Abrahamic faith
