Donald Trump Says there is a Muslim Problem, Wants Obama’s Birth Certificate

Donald Trump is gearing up to run for president and is attempting to play to the uber-Conservative base of the Republican party. He questions Obama’s birth certificate, says “it might say he’s Muslim,” and also thinks there is a “Muslim problem,” to buttress this point he says he has been opposed to the “Ground Zero” mosque since the beginning. Talk about opportunist, if you look in the dictionary it might have Donald Trump’s sleaze ball face next to the definition.

Trump: World Has a ‘Muslim Problem’

by Hiram Reisner (Newsmax)

O’Reilly asked Trump whether there is a Muslim problem in the world.

“Absolutely, absolutely — I don’t notice Swedish people knocking down the World Trade Center,” Trump said. “I came out very strongly against the mosque being built virtually across the street.

“The fact is, it was so insensitive when they announced the mosque in that location,” he said. “Don’t forget, that’s my territory — Manhattan. When they announced the mosque in that location, I couldn’t believe it.”

Trump said although there is a world Muslim problem, it does not reflect on all Muslims.

“And that’s the sad part about life, because you have fabulous Muslims — I know many Muslims, and they are fabulous people, they’re smart, they’re industrious,” he said. “Unfortunately, at this moment in time, there is a Muslim problem in the world.”

Turning to the issue of Obama’s birth, Trump said at first he hadn’t contested the president was born in Hawaii, but circumstances made him think twice. He also said it is wrong to demonize people who question the need for Obama to produce proof.

“People have birth certificates . . . now, he may have one, but there is something on that birth certificate — maybe religion, maybe it says he’s a Muslim — or he may not have one,” Trump said. “But I will tell you this: If he wasn’t born in this country, it’s one of the great scams of all time.”

Right on Mosizzle… and “naqeesh” doesn’t even exist as a word either. The root “naqasha” means to paint/decorate, with other cognates meaning to debate or argue about something contentious. And we know his whole platform is nothing but controversy, so maybe it was a Freudian slip!

However, he may simply have been thinking about these (manaqeesh) Lebanese pizzas though somehow I doubt it. 😀

That Allen West guy is getting annoying. Looks like he just skim-reads JihadWatch before going to the meetings. How are the verses in the Quran about Mary and Jesus going to be abrogated? A lot of people still disagree with the idea of abrogation anyway, but the ‘phobes have just seized the word and will wave it all over the place.

Naqeesh? Maybe he was thinking of a little green plant he was smoking whilst “overseas”.

Again speaking of speaking of politicians….

You all may know I live in Florida so I keep abreast of the loonies here to the best of my ability and as time permits.

Allen “I practice taqiyya” West is at it again. At another townhall meeting
very recently(last week). Mr West was confronted by two Muslims, namely Samir Kakli and Shehryar Wahid for his comments linking Islam to terrorism and other factual errors that he made, which I pointed out in another post of mine on LW. The Muslims like brave Nezar Hamze of CAIR decided to brave the raucous crowd of supporters that West seems to attract in our “Loon State”. Wahid gets straight to the point with West

Wahid: “I happen to be Muslim. I’ve read some of your comments regarding Muslims and I am a little worried about my children’s future. As far as I am aware you haven’t taken the opportunity to meet with your Muslim constituents to explain yourself or to hear them.”

Rather than answer as to why he hasn’t met with the Muslim community, West quickly responds with what can may be termed “taqiyya”, in light of the way Muslims are constantly accused of constantly practicing it, but is more properly called kadhab(lying), tahreef(distortion0, and talbees(deception), and kitman[we all know the meaning of this one by now, thanks to the Islamophobes :) ]

West: “I NEVER TALK ABOUT MUSLIMS; I talk about radical Muslim ideology….There is a radical element out there. when I was in Afghanistan and Iraq, we had many Muslims who were killed by the enemy. I went to villages where people were throwing acid on little girls who were going to school. Now if you don’t want me to stand up against that kind of ideology then, I tell you, I am not changing.”

Aside from the fact that this is all irrelevant to the question posed to him, the tragedy of such events does not hide that the first two sentences are highly contradictory.

And what makes people like West expect us to believe that one can go to war with a Muslim nation and come back an expert and scholar on Islamic theology(‘aqida), law(shari’ah and fiqh), and history? This is the “I was over there” argument(I will show how worthless this argument is below with an example). You were killing people, not sitting in the circles of the mashaykh and attending jumu’aa in the masajids!!

Wahid was quick to recognize the tactic of evasion and said:

Wahid: “I still feel it is important that you need to meet with your constituents.”

West knows that if he meets with groups of Muslims he will not only find concerned citizens and parents, or Muslim activists like Hamze, but actual imams and scholars of the community whom he knows he cannot fool with his supposed knowledge of Islam. West quickly reveals his real reason, in a round about way.

West: “Let us not turn this into a back and forth session. This gentleman by the name of Nezar Hamze is not asking for a sit down meeting; he is asking for a confrontation…I don’t understand why everyone is trying to make me out to be some sort of devil…”

Kakli immediately recognizes that this is deflection and obfuscation.

Kakli: “You said that you were just talking about the radicals and that you were not making statements about Islam. The problem of have with that is that you have made blanket statements about Islam and the Qur’an.”

Here is where the hypocrisy of Allen is self-exposed, along with proof of the bankruptcy of the “I was there” argument.

West: “I have been overseas[and] I have seen what is happening. so, you can’t fool me. It is theocratic in nature. It is also political because there is a politician aspect to the Shari’ah Law..”

    What?

After Kalki asks him about some ayat in the Qur’an mentioning Mariam and ‘Isa(as), west interjects with, get this:

West: ” I am also aware of the Arabic term naqeesh, which means abrogation. it means that later chapters or verses of the Qur’an supersedes previous verses.”

Talk about reading from a script! I won’t get into the abrogation argument here because I have a feeling that Danios will deal with this in a future article since it is a major talking point with Islamophobes, but.. naqeesh? Arabic word? Perhaps he meant Naskh (نسخ)?

How can people whose knowledge of Islam is less than West’s , whose knowledge is less than cursory, cheerlead him on when he shouts down a Muslim? How do they even know if his point is valid? Ya Allah! If one of these people ever needs a their tonsils or appendix removed, or a baby delivered, they might as well see the 5 year next door. This is similar to whom they choose to go to for their knowledge of Islam.

It cracks me up when bigots like Trump say how insensitive it is to have a so-called “Ground-Zero Mosque”. What about being insensitive to the Muslims?! Hey Guess what di*khead, Muslims are people too! We have feelings too and for us to be compared to Terrorists is insulting!

“You make no frigging sense. For some reason, Islamophobes will say every anti-Muslim thing possible and then say “not all Muslims are bad” and somehow it’s acceptable. Even Pamela Geller says she “loves” Muslims despite calling for the nuking of Muslim cities, supporting anti-Muslim genocide and requesting the destruction of the oldest Islamic building in the world.”

This is how people tipe-toe around bigotry to get away with it, these days. “A lot of my friends happen to be black/Muslim/Jewish!”, which is supposed to soften the blow of all of the ignorant and bigoted things they just said. Unfortunately, many, many people buy into this obvious tactic and don’t see it for what it truly is.

The only party that is desperate are the Republicans, but its to “kill the middle class”, they will lose!

Let me just say that Trump may just be “rattling the Birthers cages”, he can run or he may have grown accustomed to media attention this non-issue would create.

The current Republicans only know how to a) Start Wars not Win them (talk about no exit strategy), b) Fire more middle class worker, c) Deny middle class worker healthcare, d) Break unions. e) Take chice away from women, f) Act like they are not responsible for the financial collapse and the deficit, yup thats about it.

Our current President travelled under a USA passport long before he was elected President, but I guess the quacky BIRTHERS, must believe that the USCIS – United States Passport was in on the lie, please, grow up, you are wrong!

The Birthers just HATE and can’t debate!
Have any of the quacky BIRTHERS presented any credible proof that will standup in court? Answer: No
Have any of the quacky BIRTHERS won any Court Cases? Answer: No
They are just mainly backward, uneducated, white people who HATE our half black President.

The majority of the voting public ask “where the proof”, show some proof BIRTHERS or the voting majority will continue to see you as dumb, stupid or racist, maybe all three. Can you blame them?

Still, I really hope one of these retreads and blowhards runs for president, not because they have a chance of winning but because I like to see the train wreck that they will cause.

^I disagree. I think him running would be great for Obama. Even Obama with low approval ratings could beat this idiot, good businessman or not.

  • Crow

Sad thing is if he did run for president people would vote for him because he’s the donald and he has his own tv show. And they’d probably come up with a campan slogan like hey Obama…youre fired. His show sucks and his hairpiece is stupid.

  • Khushboo

I believe you’re right Syed. Majority of his hairpieces are good. I should not stereotype.

I also believe that his hotel beds have bedbugs but bedbugs are fabulous! 😀

    @Mosizzle
True that. All the American one is nothing more than advertising some new thingy for 1 of his big company buddies. BOOOORING. The English 1 with Lord Sugar is better, he is much funnier…..and the tasks are much better.

  • Syed

Donald Trump has an hairpiece problem – but it does not reflect on all hairpieces. Just the one that sits on his head and muddles his brain 😉

BTW, the US Apprentice is crap. That’s right, I said it!
    Lord Sugar is better.

  • marco

There goes any respect i had for him and no chance of me watching The Apprentice USA again. Not that i care, because the UK version is way better.

People like him should stay well clear of politics. He’d be a lousy president.

  • mindy1

He had enough sense to build a business empire, and he is still a nut-pathetic.

  • Khushboo

Trump may say that’s his hair is real but there is something in that hair or he may not have any hair but I tell you this: if that is not his real hair, then we’ve been lied to. What else has he lied about? Liars don’t deserve to be Presidents!

Oh and I want my money back for staying at his crappy hotel. I don’t know what was on that bed. I couldn’t see anything with the naked eye but I’m very suspicious!
