Fox “News”: Evil Muslims Behind Occupy Wall Street

Well, that didn’t take long.  Fox “News” had Dick Morris on, who claimed that the Evil Muslims are behind the Occupy Wall Street movement.  Watch the video yourself (h/t Young Turks)–the fun part about “the Moozlums” comes near the end of the clip around 5:15:

Notice how Morris says: “It’s come out that they [Occupy Wall Street] are Anti-Semitic, that the Mozlem groups are involved…”

So, if any Muslim group is involved, that’s bad?  No Muslims are ever allowed to join anything at any time anywhere?  Should American movements from now on have a “No Muslim” Policy like the GOP does?

And I love how he equates “Anti-Semitic” with “Muslim,” as if they are interchangeable.  Occupy Wall Street is not Anti-Semitic, but I’ll tell you who is Islamophobic: Dick Morris, Bill O’Reilly, and Fox “News.”

These people make me furious, and are the reason I spend so much of my very limited free time writing for this site.

Dan iel you’re a fool. Our country is nowhere cose to having a lazze-faire capitalist system. You are a confused, sorry little man if you think that it does.

These people make me furious, and are the reason I spend so much of my very limited free time writing for this site.

“Anger” is not the best reason for doing anything. “Those people” are making more people curious about Islam than all the muslims in America had made curious in fifty years. The population of muslims “below the radar” in America has almost doubled since 9/11, if it hasn’t more than doubled.

Anger about those people is entirely appropriate. But it should not be i>the reason for any action, and definitely should be avoided when considering or taking any action.

We know where anger comes from and what it does to the thinking of a human being. Allowing anyone or anything to provoke anger ~ and in this case the provocation is entirely intentional ~ is a losing game.

    Um…wtf???

The Wall Street Occupation is to weaken the country and ready it for Islamic takeover. Those of us with a brain in our head must see it for what it is. Ten years after the fall of the World Trade Center, we see phase two-duh-even named as a military operation. Also blatantly referred to as using “Arab Spring” tactics. And I’m not saying America is innocent. I will tell you this: the USA is not going down like that…

“Morocco and US friendship go back a long way, the country is a major US non-NATO ally.
QUOTE:”During the American Revolution, so many American ships called at the port of Tangiers that the Continental Congress sought recognition from the “Emperor” of Morocco. This was accorded, in effect, in 1777, making Morocco the first country to recognize the fledging American republic. Negotiation of a formal treaty began in 1783, and resulted in the signing in 1786 of the Moroccan-American Treaty of Friendship. John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, both future U.S. Presidents, were the American signatories.”

So? Being a US ally doesn’t make a country a democracy. Just ask Saudi Arabia.

“Morocco is NOT a “dictatorship” “
    From US State Department:
    Government
    Type: Constitutional monarchy.
    Constitution: March 1972, revised 1980, 1992, and 1996 (creating a bicameral legislature).
    Independence: March 2, 1956.
Branches: Executive–king (head of state), prime minister (head of government). Legislative–bicameral Parliament. Judicial–Supreme Court.
Major political parties: Party of Authenticity and Modernity (PAM), Istiqlal (Independence) Party (PI), Party of Justice and Development (PJD), Socialist Union of Popular Forces (USFP), National Rally of Independents (RNI), Popular Movement (MP), Constitutional Union Party (UC), Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS).
Suffrage: Universal starting at 18 years of age.
Also to point out the the United Kingdom is also a Constitutional monarchy. In fact, morocco sound very much like the UK, unless you want to argue that the UK is not a democracy.
Now – what’s YOUR definition of “democracy” Anticipated Serendipity?”

I think you ought to do your research. Jordan is also a constitutional monarchy; will you argue that Jordan is a democracy like the UK too? My definition of democracy is the dictionary definition and quite simply any country where a hereditary ruler has anything more than “ceremonial power” (sole job is to look good) is not a democracy. The PM of Morocco is chosen by the King after an election determines who the ruling party will be.
Do you know that Morocco is such a good US ally that the country tortured suspected terrorists on America’s behalf? Morocco is one of the oppressive countries terror suspects were sent to to undergo “enhanced interrogation techniques”. Now why didn’t the US government send terror suspects to other US-friendly constitutional monarchies like the UK or Australia or the various EU countries that have monarchies? They’re much closer US allies aren’t they? So if Morocco is just like the UK, why not send terror suspects to the UK to be tortured? Get real. There’s no equivalency b/w Morocco and the UK.

  • …and what does “democracy” mean to you, cartoon?

When I’m told I “must” support the policies like the death penalty because they are “based on scripture” – is that “democracy?”

This is what a state like Florida is like…and lots of “policies based on scripture” come out of especially America’s Bible Belt!

“Cartoon” is definitely haram pork. Exactly the same retardo writing style and the comparing Muslims with snakes. What’s with this character and snakes? I actually have a friend who has a pet python, she sleeps with it in her room and it is quite harmless, so yes there are harmless snakes out there. And yes porky boy/girl/thing, every Muslim should be considered a potential terrorist just like every Catholic priest a potential paedophile, every Christian a potential flat-earther, every a Jew a potential fraudster, every man a potential rapist…

    @elsaporte
Err…Morocco is a dictatorship ruled by a king – just like back in the day – whose right to rule derives only from the fact that his father was king.

  • Mustafa H.E.

“Mustafa Kemal, father of modern democratic Turkey”

Hahahaha, Mustafa Kemal’s Turkey was anything but a democracy. During the reign of the Kemalists and their Ergenekon shadow government, institutions were heavily controlled by the military. If an election did not go in their favor, the president could be legally overthrown by the military….not very Democratic. However, there are other countries that seem to be fitting the mold of democracy fairly well, such as Malaysia. Turkey’s government right now is becoming more accepting of Islam and it has remained (if not, became more) democratic from Kemalist times. Iran could have been democratic if it weren’t for the US and UK meddling in it’s affairs in the early 50s.

Also, since when did liberal democracies become the “ideal” for nations?

  • Skhan

  • Mr Pork, are you capable of doing anything other than regurgitating the ‘facts’ fed to you during your brainwashing? You’re quite the little cultist! Makes you comments about truth all the more ironic.

  • @Esalporte: There are at least 56 Muslim countries. Are most of them DEMOCRATIC?Only one swallow never makes a summer.Mustafa Kemal, father of modern democratic Turkey took Islam out of constitution and called Islam as the absurd theology of an IMMORAL Beduion.Read Holy terror by Amer Taheri page 187.

  • Even if America adapted some socialism, it would be democratic socialism or social democratic.

America would NOT resemble Soviet Russia, as America has a totally different historical experience than Russia. Russia never really had a “free society” and America helped pioneer modern liberal democracy.

Watch the The Young Turks video. This is what the right-wing does best – try to dig in the sack of dirty labels – and try to pull out one that sticks: “socialists”, “communists”, “hippies,” “Muslim Brotherhood,” “anti-American,” “anti-Semitic” – next “Mexican,” “re-conquestia” – whatever –

we should be on to this ol’ game played for decades by the right-wing, conservatives, on both sides of the Atlantic – name calling attacks – for the purpose of demonization and, perhaps, criminalization of Occupyers….

    Not in Turkey and Morocco…

  • AZ john

In the 50’s & 60’s fear mongers wanted everyone to believe it was the “commies” who were behind protests. When I was a kid my parents forbade me from buying Beatles albums, because the John Birch Society sent them literature explaining that the Beatles were actually Russian agents, their music was written by an agency in Moscow, and rock & roll was part of the communist plan to subvert the youth of America. The problem now is that unpatriotic nutbags like them have an entire TV network devoted to spewing their lunacy.
